Terrible advice here. A set of new slide pins is less than 10 bucks. Pins are not supposed to fit snugly in the bracket. This allows for grease to circulate. Hammering in the slide pins with this sheet metal rubbish is friggin' insane. Notice how he doesn't demonstrate the slide pins moving freely before he reassembles everything. That's because they won't. This video is a disaster and no one should try this. Just buy new pins or a new bracket and pins....not expensive. I wouldn't let this clown anywhere near my car.

I have got problem with my right side front, when I brake and pull out, it makes knocking noise when driving it's fine, I have replaced with genuine brake pads with fixing kit, but it's, still the same ,do you know what it could be ?

Caliper pin should slide for smooth braking n release..this guy is at risk of accident
Don't do this brake will jamm , and wheels will heat up
You are right but caliper,s pin size is down and after this pins are free
No the piston is not affected so it cannot jam

Why is this not a good idea as others say, replacing pins didn't help but this does stop the noise , so what else can u use to buffer around pin then
