These guys took a big risk and left NASH a while back, they’ve come so far and they’re now getting the notice they truly deserve. Risk = rewards, big respect to these two chaps!
You guys are awesome videographers as well as masters of the piscatorial art. As I swiftly approach the twilight of my years it is comforting to know that the sport I have loved for the whole of my life is being conserved and promoted by two excellent young ambassadors. Thank you for sharing your love of angling with us all.
@@andrewperry8268 what would you define 'skillful fishing' then? Having 6 rods in the water doesn't mean a thing. It's how you pick your bait, set up your rod, bait up, bait your swims, how you cast them, how you play the fish, how you land the fish... Rod numbers mean absolutely nothing. As does your opinion... Hence the reason these lads with their 6 rods are now world famous professional anglers and you're just a miserable old man that sits on a canal with your pole, huffing and puffing every time a cyclist wants to get past. Get in the bin, shithouse!
Alexander Moss six rods in the water means six different baits in six different positions. This means you don’t have a clue where the fish are ...........so you narrow your odds by fishing randomly like these guys did . Skillful angling is knowing your quarry ,it feeding habits ,it’s whereabouts and using one ( or possibly two ) rods to catch . I understand that it’s hard to catch fish to order and that these guys are under pressure to catch on camera but I feel they are taking it to far. What would have happened if Three fish decided to bite at the same time ❓
Back at the end of the 1960's, early 1970's, Hall &Co./ Ready Mix Concrete (all part of one conglomerate) opened up all its gravel pits for fishing. Wraysbury, Yateley and Darenth were the famous ones, but you also got, Send, Burghfield, Frimley and a whole bunch of pits, the names of which I have forgotten. Membership came with a book with all the pits described and mapped and the cost was £40 a season - which was a lot back then. Most of my great memories come from that era. The barge was painted in those days and had the RMC diamond logo on the side of the cabin. By the mid 70's RMC made Wraysbury, Yateley and Darenth each a single ticket, but for four or five years it was simply fabulous.
I remember those days. The Coverall permit gave you access to every RMC fishery. Amazing value. I bought the ticket for the pike and barbel fishing - there were some nice stretches of the Ouse in Bedfordshire as well as the lakes.
Thank you both for another amazing film. Fishing content aside your presentation and style is so watchable and entertaining. Thank you Carl and Alex, please keep up the good work. Best wishes in all you do. Cornwall salutes you! 👍🏻
