I just watched all of your art tutorials. You're really good at simplifying the human form down to simple shapes and rhythms. Your videos improved my figure drawings a lot! Thank you!
One thing that I think hold beginners back is when they learn the rules they’re afraid to break them and what i mean by this is they get to caught up with accuracy that they forgot to add appeal
yep, i was stuck in that mentality for like 2 years and finally broke out of it like a year or 2 ago, it makes things not only take less time to draw because I’m going with the flow but also the drawing ends up looking more dynamic

Background should be another more mild unsaturated color，never let the background more obvious than your main character（when ur pic is all about character）.But u can try the reverse when u turly become color -mastered.😢
