What about the Durston Ring & Stock Bender from Rio Grande?
What metal are you using, what is the thickness, and did you anneal it first?
the ring bender is plastic. Would the hot metal not melt the bender?
Mine has a set screw to hold the cylinders in place.
I would recommend returning that ring bender and buying the Pepe ring bender that’s the only good ringer bender that I found
The manual for these things say silver from 1 to max 3mm gold max 2mm i think maybe you are using a too thick spoon here, but it also looks like its a poor product, i was gona buy one of fruugo...but..ehh..maybe notBest regards from Norway.
Are spoons like the new "i have not talent somim gonna bend spoons to impress my friends" trend ...
It's plastic for a start ! That's always gonna be crap
You need to anneal your metal first 😂
that's a plastic ring bender. Would annealing the metal not cause it to melt the ring bender
Yes I also fell for this money grab. It’s absolute garbage. Angelo Zaragoza is spot on in saying but a Pepe Brand. 👍
Obviously ur bendn steal that has not been annealed, which once annealed makes it softer.
I bought this one - it’s absolute rubbish
you need to compatable pieces..... maybe read instructions first
