    very cool machine, with an attachment it could become a ring stamping machine to stamp letters onto rings.. ;-)

    make it more solid to avoid keeping finger on it, it seems more flexible then the dye.

    Rather then soaking it with oil and letting dust build up to prevent rust,,,heat it in an oven ."hot to touch", then use Wax to coat the entire surface. It lasts longer and doesn't attract dirt while still protecting it from rust. .

      No no no. Applying heat to the unit, will temper it causing the components to loose their hardness. Never ever do this. Dave

    The USA has used the metric system for years.

      American car manufacturers double crossed all the dyed in the wool car buyers that would only by American when Chrysler dropped the Mitsubishi motor into the Caravans and Voyagers. Personally, I'm glad they did it. Up until all that started to happen American cars were shit boxes.

      Pepetools are sold around the world, so it probably makes more sense to use modern metric systems. Dave

    • @Graeme758
      @Graeme758 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's made in America. That means ok quality at an inflated price. Same thing can be bought for half the price at the same quality, or quarter the price for junk.

      "officially" the USA joined the development of the metric system in 1878 and in 1975 it became law in the US - the Omnibus Trade & Competitiveness Act of 1988 amended the 1975 law to make the metric system the “preferred system of weights and measures for United States trade and commerce”. But they forgot to tell the people who post to YT.
      In keeping with american activities - guns and bullets are made in metric - so that's some progress

    Haha nice magic trick!
    Jews harp making.
    I would like to come up with an affordable method for bending key stock. The square rod key stock. Roughly between 4.0 mm and 5.0 mm. I would like to get into making Jews harps.
    This being only one method aside from forging harps.

      There are so many specialty spray lubes out there but WD-40 seems to be the one everyone has around. Would it be okay in this case or not? I don't know. Maybe silicone spray would be better? I'm not set up to do a test. I should Google it.
