As Portuguese, I feel so happy to see that people in Malacca are trying hard to preserve their identity and their language. Hope to visit the Portuguese Settlement there soon!
My parents on both sides are from Melaka and both spoke Kristang. My grandma🙏🙏 spoke only kristang. However mom n her family immigrated to Singapore in the 1930s when she was a child. I treasure this language as it reminds me of home. I live in Switzerland today n make it a habit to visit Melaka every year when on holidays in Singapore❤️
Fantastic lecture, may the Malaysian Kristang language be preserved and, as a pagan, I also hope all the native spiritual shamanic traditions of that country!

Great job in providing history and insights on Papia Kristang. You have caught my interest in looking closer at my own links.
❤ Você fez um trabalho maravilhoso

This is my teacher! Oh, my honor.
Great talk! (And I didn't know you could sing so well, too!)
My former lecturer !

Actually i consider Kristang as the Portuguese language of Malacca. A creole language could turn into a new language too.
