In December 2009 Southeastern was replacing motors in its 465 fleet, with 3 different noises coming from the fleet, the original BREL, Hitatchi and the Doncaster fitted motors all feature in this video. Enjoy!
@@gazraelstudio22 The choppy brush converters weren't too reliable. So, they were swapped out for Hitachi IGBT traction converters. The traction motors were never replaced
Class 376s still have yellow doors and grey stripe, Southeastern couldn't bother repainting them for some reason, I'll ask @se_railway on twitter if they will ever be repainted or replaced

Its good they kept the motors, you can still hear that whine as the train speeds up to this day!

They still have their original motors, it was the inverters that were changed
