This is a lovely example of a 60s iconic motorcycle, I have recently purchased a 1967 Triumph Bonneville T120R here in the UK, an American import from Pennsylvania in need of quite a lot of new parts, I don't intend to completely restoring it, I just want it safe and reliable enough for me to ride, making slow progress but enjoying every minute,.. OAP Wales UK.
@@weemsmotorco... It is a very therapeutic project keeping me active and occupied through a difficult time, Wish I had your knowledge, I have to replace some of the wiring next, it's last owner spent a lot of time bodging parts instead of replacing them, Slow progress but very enjoyable, Im looking forward to the satisfying reward of riding it,....Just Subscribed in the hope one of you're early episodes has answers to some of my queries on this model. 🤔.
@weemsmotorco ...I will be needing help at some stage, just bought some engine and gearbox oil after watching you change your dad's in this episode, one small step, one giant leep eventually, more parts on the way,..Thank You.
Beautiful bike, beautiful backstory.. just love the story.. i hope you have many more years of enjoyment with it and that your kids enjoy it too when the time comes.. you sentimental biker you..😊 Keep twisting that wrist Uncle Weems..
My dad wasn't into motorcycles but he was a mechanic and always helped me work on my dirt bikes and motorcycles.i had a stroke and was told I'd never ride again but a few years later I bought an old vstar 1100 and he helped me modify it so I could ride again. The 3 year anniversary of his passing is coming up in a couple weeks. After he was gone people I never expected told me how he would talk about how proud he was I started riding again. To some it might be a cheap vstar but I will never get rid of that bike.
@Weems Motor Co - next candidate for the empty bench? ....a Royal Enfield Interceptor (THE NEW 650cc ONES!) but with springers and a Captain America seat! YOU KNOW THE LOOK I'M TALKIN; ABOUT! We just want to know IF IT CAN BE DONE! (and HOW?)
It has been a few months since I washed my bike, maybe I should get around to it. It is crazy to know that your dad's bike is as old as I am... Makes me want to get another project bike. My current bike started out as a barely running bike, and it is pretty cool to make them run better. Take care Jared, ride safe.
If you wanted something new on the bench an OIF flat tracker would be cool. I’ve got an in progress 72 staring at me from my welding table. Need more time and less projects 😂
What about building another triumph for (drum roll !!!!!)....your mum !!!!😊. Then your mum/dad can watch over their son 👍. Yeah i know ..."what an excellent idea !!!!" Peace out ✌️
You know Theme bikes seem to be Magical in your Hands and everyone loved The Munsters, We know they did the Barris version of the Munster Hearse and Grandpas Coffin Racer. I think breifly Grandpa was shown taking Lily on Bike with Sidecar and Herman as biker sat on a HD Dresser for a few shots but as far as I know there was Never a Barris version of a Munsters Bike . How about you do it as a British Bobber, Scrambler or Chopper with or without a sidecar the way you envision it. There was a Von Dutch/Barris version of Schwinn Stingray Bicycle they made for Little Eddie it was gold and had Gold Chain for Frame
I love that bike. That would be my daily rider if it was in my garage. Is that the UK paint specs and tank for 1966 Bonnie? You normally see the white with orange stripes down the middle of the tank version of the 66. How many cameras did you have on that ride... we had like 6 different angles to cut between.
What a heartwarming story. Thank you so much for sharing. And what a fantastic motorbike this is. Your children will be proud, owning it one day.
Thank you very much!
Thank you for the weekly message from Rev. Weems and the Triumph Assembly of Inspiration! Glad to be a member of the congregation.
Amen brother!
What a beautiful "Bonnie" . Your dad would be very proud of you.
It is and Thank You!

Sounds like a great project!

Thanks for the kind words, I'll keep twisting!

That's beautiful. Dads are the best!
nice quiet motor, no intrusive mechanical noise, just the sound of combustion; sweet.
Yes indeed!
He sees it Sir. And such admiration for you Blood values.
Thanks!
Awesome bike and a great story.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Still have my dads 68 TR6 and I love ridding it smooth as silk quiet and perfect and yes I know he is with me.
It’s always the best feeling riding this bike!
Great job and an awesome story 👍
Thanks so much!
Great story. I think the Triumph Bonneville is one of if not the best motorcycle ever made ! 😁
You got that right!
Great bike and backstory.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome looking bike 🏍 ❤😊
Thanks, she's a real head-turner!
Bike looks great I love the story behind the ( Dad's bike) love to see a hot rod build like the Harbour Town Bobber bike O yeah
Glad you liked the story!
Such a sweet story and motorcycle. Glad you’re keeping the flame alive
Thanks for the kind words!
Love it, I want a 1964 one day
Great Year!
A beautiful bike!!!!!
She’s a looker!
Such a beautiful bike and such a cool story. You can't beat motorccycles for creating memories.
Great story love the bike sounds so sweet. how about putting a preunit on the table well done weems I always enjoy watching the show
A Preunit is never a bad option!
That’s one sweet ride I still have 2 Triumphs left a 69 Bonnie and a 71 Tiger both 650 cc bikes
Both nice bikes!!!
I think you should start my chopper build on the table 😆
That’s a great idea!
Stunning bike, absolutely one to love and cherish and pass on to your next generation ❤
It really is!
Next project on your lift should be my bike! Lol.
I'd love to give that a go!
This is the dream machine with the best history give it some miles... Will you ever look at doing an oil in frame special ? Well done Jared
I’ve had a few Oil in Frame models!
fantastic video today
Thanks for the visit!

I love a nice RE!!!!

Take care Jared, ride safe.
It's always a good feeling to get them running right!
You could reproduce the 49 Von Dutch Triumph T6 which I think was a bobber with scrambler pipes
That is an awesome bike!
If you wanted something new on the bench an OIF flat tracker would be cool. I’ve got an in progress 72 staring at me from my welding table. Need more time and less projects 😂
That would be a great project!
For the new bike on the table... Go find an old Norton!
That would be awesome to find an old Atlas!
What about building another triumph for (drum roll !!!!!)....your mum !!!!😊.
Then your mum/dad can watch over their son 👍.
Yeah i know ..."what an excellent idea !!!!"
Peace out ✌️
That is a real possibility!
The bike Triumph should have built now....I had a 1200 Speedmaster, great engine, but the bike was so heavy.....
You cant beat their classic lines!

I’d love to do a Munsters build!
When are you doing the stretch coffin tank chopper that you have hanging from the rafters
That is a far far off project!
😎👍
Thanks Steven

It’s UK spec, great eye! I used one camera just moved it around on the bike!
Maybe Rainmaker or 56 can hang out on the table
56 is on the race track but The Rainmaker is a great idea!
So is dipping the carbs better than ultrasonic cleaning devices
Depends on how “dirty” they are!
👍🏻
Thanks!
@ you do good work plus you rode it.
100% correct? Looks like you have two left hand carbs.
Triumphs only used left hand carbs. BSA dropped the extra $$$ to get left and Right Amal Monoblocks.
We haven’t seen your daughter’s bike in a while.
Right!?!? I need to get it out!!!
The bike is just too pretty to leave sitting
Right!?!? I need to ride it more!
