The satisfaction you must have gotten when you first heard this engine fire and make that awesome signature Triumph sound made all your efforts worth while! Congratulations and thank you Weems☮
It's the second best looking pre-unit Triumph chopper I've ever seen. And I'm probably as old as Weems. The other one had 3 and a half gallon fatbobs, forward controls and a girder with a black tin front fender.
In 1984 I bought a Basket case, a pile of parts a week later and another pile of parts after that. I put together a circa 1967 Bonneville. Later I ditched the 2 carb head and went with single carb. Every Brit bike since I ran single carbs. Much better starting and hassle free acceleration
Very nice! My first street bike was a 1958(my birthyear) Triumph 6T chopper. I just love the pre-units!! After I redid the topend end and bought a new Amal carb it was a one kick bike.
I love everything you do on your channel. I have allways had a love for the non traditional motorcycle. Choppers and non production is what i like. Due to health i haven't been on a motorcycle in many years. I can still drive a vehicle. I have seen a few Honda trikes and Suzuki trikes. And a ton of Harley trike conversions. Have you ever seen a triumph chopper trike? Or have you ever tried to build one? One of my future goals is to find or make a chopper trike. That's not a Harley. Your videos have swayed me even into a triumph chopper trike. Besides my health my other half has said she would never ride a 2 wheeler with me but would if I had a trike. Haha motivations. Thankyou for your excellent videos see you at born free in Ca. 2025
I love the Triumph Chopper trike idea! My buddy Ryan built an insane Triumph PreUnit trike for Born Free and few years back! Google it and you will be mind blown! It was gold.
Are you able to plate this bike since it’s a bunch of random parts thrown together? Awesome build, I love that you were able to do this for $0! Looking forward to the next one you have lined up.
Im about to buy a 1956 Thunderbird with unit top. It got so much compression I can hardly kickstart it 😅 Is that normal? First time on old Triumph for me...
I had a 51 with a custom build 650 (30 over) built for flat track racing in a swing arm frame with dog bones. Bad as lil minky. The absolute one thing I HATED about it was tha stock oil bag CAP! That sob TORE my knee up
@ meh.. the tolerances were to tight. We used avtac instead of gaskets on a lot of things and beer cartons on others. A buddy of mine made cotton picker parts and figured a way to bond neoprene to the primary covers for a permanent gasket.
So...am i stupìd being a brit and running bit bikes for over 45 years.....oil is not susceptable to gravity???? If i corner too fast the oil will come out the top???😂
Always nice to have a project become a success.
It was a blast to see it come together!
AWESOME!!!!
It was a blast!
Much better than any new bike...every ride will make you smile Well done Jared
We totally agree!
The satisfaction you must have gotten when you first heard this engine fire and make that awesome signature Triumph sound made all your efforts worth while! Congratulations and thank you Weems☮
It was a magical moment, for sure!

Always on the last kick!!!
@@weemsmotorco 😁
I'm happy I guessed right at three, even if technically it wasn't, lovely Triumph bitza and amazingly all from spare parts. Congratulations.
Thanks friend, it was a blast to build!

I bet it was a cool bike!

Sounds like you know your way around a Brit bike!
A very simple cool design no plastic bonanza
Indeed!
Sweet build, bud!
Thanks! It's been a fun one to build.

You forgot the front-break, Mr. Weems, but the rest looks like a champ to me

Thanks kenneth!
How many kicks? As many as it takes to get it started.
Starts on the last one every time!
I would rather ride that bike than any new Harvey Danielson! I think I would need you as my personal mechanic but it would be worth it Weems.
I hear you!
Absolutely smegin OUTSTANDING! but where is the old headlight nacelle, it would be perfect with it.
That would be cool to have!!!
8:56 You really should do something about that tree in front of your house. Obviously, it is somehow staining the sidewalk in the area under the bike.
Part of the side walk is new as the roots forced it up.
Are you able to plate this bike since it’s a bunch of random parts thrown together? Awesome build, I love that you were able to do this for $0! Looking forward to the next one you have lined up.
Yes you can! Here in the states you can title on the frame or engine numbers alone!
Cool nice job is this a keeper bike or going for sale ? PS I was thinking 4 kicks
Everything is for sale for the right price!
Im about to buy a 1956 Thunderbird with unit top. It got so much compression I can hardly kickstart it 😅 Is that normal? First time on old Triumph for me...
Good compression is a good thing!
Hmm .Very fast engine in what ammounts to a cycle frame . Does look nice though 🙂
Yes, true
Hundred Williams this is Eric from Oceanside, California. I would say or kicks.
Eric, We hope you enjoyed the build series!
13!
LoL, on the first attempt yes!!!

Stay Tuned!!!

Those early Triumphs were tough!

10....let's see
On the first try probably!!
Hit it out of the park with that build. Please less music. Wanted to hear that rip
Great point. I will do better next time!

I'd rather hear motorcycles than music
Great point. I will do better next time!
@@weemsmotorcoawesome series and the music was just fine
Music was great but I wanted to hear some motor sound
Your next Project "British" Classic Bike with Suzuki VS1400 Engine; Dnipro MT1036 Fuel Tank and Turn Signals from Jawa 350 634?
Sounds like a fun project!
So...am i stupìd being a brit and running bit bikes for over 45 years.....oil is not susceptable to gravity???? If i corner too fast the oil will come out the top???😂
