Great video, one suggestion I would have is that when you do big projects like this you should split them into 15-25 min videos, not because everyone has short attention spans but because when people click out of a long video tk take a break TH-cam assumes that the video is boring and Doesn’t recommend the video to as many people. Splitting up the project and maybe spacing the video releases a day apart and having people watch all 3-4 videos forces viewers to come back to the channel further boosting your analytics values and boosting views and recommendations. I know it sounds like a bit of waffle and I’m certainly not complaing as it was a fantastic video as all of yours are and I learned a lot just a bit of advice
Your 100 percent right, but the time is the problem Paddy so I decided to roll it into one to keep it like a package deal! 👍🏼 Thanks and glad you enjoyed!
When you did the line at the back to keep the top roof sheets right how did you keep the top of the sheet from getting away on ya what did you come of , and how do u get the first sheet square to start so it doesn't run of on you brilliant video your a great worker doing it all by yourself 💪👌
@@kevinwalls19 the big part is to ensure the building is square and once you start your first sheet you will have a reference. When installing the sheets you can adjust them slightly on the lap edge if you are running off slightly. 👍🏼
On the side sheeting where it meets the roof I always bolt a 3x2 timber into the web of the beam and fix the sheeting to it then place the flashing over it. It gives the sheet great strength. Great job fare play.
great video Conor and amazing job with the shed if only every farmer could build a shed like that you did an amazing job top class shocking tidy job you saved some money doing it urself compared to getting some1 fair play to ya
Cheers Shane, the problem I had was getting enough magnetism from the mag drill to not lift off when drilling and the plate wasn’t just long enough. But thanks and great suggestion. Glad you enjoyed 👍🏼
I dont know how come you guys making these projects look so easy 😌. I was removing a stuck screw by drilling a hole & using screw extractor, it felt so tough 😔
That was a really good watch. Really enjoyed it. Is there a pitch degree that shed manufacturers stick to? Solar panel companies seem to recommend a shed with a 15 degree angle
It is a question I’ve asked but no, not necessarily. I am in the engineering field and it all depends on your snow loading. So if your roof is capable of carrying large snow load then it can literally be as flat as you like! If you put a slope on it it reduces the size of i-beam you need to use in your main structure. Glad you enjoyed, it was enjoyable to build!
Thanks Francis! A lot of hours! Using old steelwork was the worst for time consumption! I would say there was a couple of weeks work altogether in it. The assembly of the shed itself only took around 8 full days or so. Cheers 👍🏼
Had the steel frame up in around 10 hours and altogether the entire assembly took me around 8 days, just jigsaw stuff as long as you have all your levels correct to start with and you square it off properly! Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated 👍🏼
@@connormcmahon3724 nice, I had a 1992, same colour and stripes, 6" lift, 35" tyres and a real nice set of bars all round. Had to sell it as got into financial difficulties. Sheeting down the side of the shed overhang is a good idea. Might do the same on the weanling shed if I get a chance. Good channel lad.
Unfortunately time to do those things sometimes isint as easy as it seems but thanks for the suggestion Daniel. I just decided to roll it all into one to keep it as a package deal!
Savage video Conor, thinking of doing something similar soon. Great pair of hands on ya lad 👌👍
Thanks a mil Adrian👍🏼
A great job. I now have shed envy.
I'm glad you made the odd mistake, you made it so easy ,a brilliant job keep it up .
Thanks Richard
Lukn for a video like dis for a long time. Fair play great job.
Yet another savage video!! Tidy job 👌
Thanks man
Great job Connor, you should be doing that for a living. Tidy piece of engineering👍
Thanks! 👍🏼
Brilliant video, very instructional and unlike a lot of others on the subject, you make it very easy to understand and replicate. 💪👍
Thank you, glad you enjoyed! 👍🏼
Well detailed video, tasty work and a fine shed you have, for reasonable cost.
Yes very reasonable except for the cladding which is not cheap at the moment!
That is a savage job you done there, unreal work for one man. great video.
Thanks 👍🏼
Top job mate all the best from Sydney Australia
Great video and great work. You can't beat it

Cheers James, great advice for the next one 😂👍🏼
Brilliant video, have found the irish Andrew Camerata🤣👍
Cheers man, he’s probably my favourite tuber actually and inspired me to start the channel👍🏼 thanks for the compliment and the good feedback 👍🏼
Super bit of work connor fair play
Cheers Bobby, hope your keeping well lad👍🏼

Thanks Jack, yes huge saving!
Clamp an end plate on the column for drilling, saves a load of time marking every single hole. Great job all the same

Great job tidy well done 👏
Oh the struggle of the angles😂😂😂
😂
Savage video really informative!!! Super job
Thanks Mark

It’s not all easy, don’t let it all fool you. Practice and some patience along with some motivation is generally all you need! Good luck! 😊
Nice video! Keep going make this kind of video !!
Great video, great content.
Thanks Ciaran!
Comment for the algorithm to help the channel 👍 👍👍.
Thanks a mil Ciaran👍🏼👍🏼
Great video Conor, really enjoyed it. South Armagh?
Cheers for that!👍🏼 Not south Armagh but very close, just on the Monaghan side of it👍🏼
Great worker you can Buy steel in BQ Galway if need small amount for shelfs or small project for small money halcon steel sell metal for sheds
Great Video There ,,what you doing with that CLASSIC HILUX 👍🏻
Cheers, it’s a brothers restoration project 👍🏼
Super Job. How much do you reckon the steel would of cost to buy it off the shelf (unfabricated of course)
At a rough guess John, probably somewhere from €4-5k.
Great job in fairness! 😃. How do you get a fall in the guttering if it is aligned to the roof?
Thank you very instructive. Is it done under permissive development?

How do you get the run on the gutter? Is it folded so it runs or do you pack it out with something?
Mighty job that. Roughly how long did it take to put up once you had all made? Fair play 💪👍

well done that is a very very tasty job .............bet its not your first rodeo ....!
Well not really but it is on my own at the same time 😂 thanks George!
Fine shed. What ya doing with the Hilux?
Thanks man. Hilux isn’t my project, it’s my brothers restoration project👍🏼

@@wildcat22 thanks man. Yea that Hilux is a 1995, unbelievable machines!
Ok
😛😛😛😛❤❤❤🦾🦴🦾🦴👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Pity, you have no longer drill
Would u not be better make shorter 15 or 20 minute videos and more of them??
