    Love this post, I'm an az quail hunter who longs to travel for other birds through out our great united stated. Love this series.

      Agreed! Just started quail gambles hunting since I live in Northern Arizona. Had no clue how lucky I was living in Arizona until I started quail hunting the AZ highlands.

    Federal Upland Steel #6s with a skeet choke. Completely changed the game for me and making connections. Haven't used anything since. Highly recommend.

      I would say that choke has more to do with your success than the load you're using.

    Ive lived and hunted the exact same area my entire life. My cabin is about 10miles past your campsite. Saw ya there this fall a couple weekends in a row. Hopefully found plenty of birds. Theres piles there.

    Grouse seem really paranoid in USA. In Canada if you go really far north. You can literally kick them lol.
