Nice video, I currently have a 356 ELO on BGA, which by no means puts me anywhere near the top of the best Tapestry players, and I think you make some very valid points. I currently have around 250 plays on BGA and feel like I am still learning stuff about proper strategy. Its kind of crazy how much the game has changed for me since playing on BGA, where at my skill level I am averaging 325 points per game and often times the winner of games is much closer to 400 points. For a game with a fair amount of random elements it's amazing how much strategy can still play a huge factor. I have lost games where I have played what might be considered a stronger Civ against better players and got trounced. I find it to be a very rewarding game to play and just can't seem to get enough of it.
This game has been on my Shelf of Shame for a while! Hopefully I can get it off with the new civ pack which I’ve ordered. Thanks for the great run through!

first min of vid: i think lowering the music volume would be beneficial (maybe keep it loud only for channel intro). It is a lil bit annoying
