I love the roll down rear window in the Tundra, 4Runner, and Sequoia. I understand why not in the Land Cruiser, but I wish they added it to the Lexus GX.
Yeah I didn’t think I’d actually care much for this feature simply because I never use sunroofs but I was wrong. I always roll it down. Especially in the 4Runner.

I had 3 tacomas over 14 years before my tundra which I bought 2 months ago. I love it and wouldn't trade it for the world but it's not for everyone. Do a thorough and real life test drive for a few days if possible.
This video was hilarious and that party trick with the doors was pretty pimp...my wife also hates not being able to shut the doors easily. Especially the rear ones

If the Tundra TRD Pro had front and rear parking sensors and blind spot monitoring I would have one in my driveway right now. Since all the dealers in my area are selling for Sticker price and no less, I might as well wait to see if the 2022 TRD Pro will have those extra features before pulling trigger on a 2021.
I think the door close effort is same with FJ Cruisers, experienced it already. But the remote start feature is really lit, makes you drool on the 5.7 liter V8 that the Tundra has! I hope they also put the remote start feature on the Land Cruisers 😅 Nice videos as always 💯

You forgot to use the spare key in the key fob if you put it in the driver door and hold it to the right you can lower all your windows and your moonroof if you hold it to the left you can close all your windows and your moonroof, try it.
Thanks! I tried this on my 2020 TRD Pro 4 Runner and worked like a charm. Bears using the APP. Also tried it on my 2018 TRD Pro Tacoma....no luck unfortunately.

On the remote start, does it have to have a push to start button for that to work? My fob is part of the key. Does that matter? This doesn’t work on my 2021 tundra.
@@UntamedMotors remote start is a cool trick but since it shuts off when you get in, it kind of defeats the purpose. Although definitely can see the usefulness of you need the truck to heat up. The app is great to remote lock/unlock the vehicle. If the wife is outside and needs something or if I forgot to lock it, I can just open or lock the door from the phone anywhere!

I haven't considered swapping my turn signal for LEDs... hmm. As for the tonneau cover, I have a few videos up that show it a bit. But I'm happy to do a more in-depth video of it. It's a BAKflip MX4 finished in Line-X (costs around $1100).

Any idea if the 2021 TRD pro is pre-wired for the RCTA and BSM? It feels such a big miss to leave these features out from their most expensive model. I haven't been able to find anything concrete about this. It seems the TRD Pros are based on the limiteds which do have BSM and RCTA. So the question is if the wire harnesses already there in the truck supports it and if just the sensors are required. Can we buy the sensors and sonar and plug them right in to get these features? The Canadian TRD Pros do have BSM and RCTA. :(
You know man, I'm not sure... I honestly can't believe they didn't implement them within their TRD Pro model... I would think they'd just include it if it was wired for it. Someone told me that they didn't include it because it interferes with off-roading... but why not just turn it off? Like in the Tacoma TRD Pro..... so not much air in that argument.

I just like the driveability of the Tundra better. Imo, it’s just easier to manage on a day to day basis. Easier to park and maneuver in tight spaces. I’ve also frowned to appreciate the simplistic interior over the Ram’s swanky new tech interior. Then reliability is just a nice touch of course! 👌🏻 backseat space is better in the tundra too.

Amazing dealerships don't even market the remote start capability on the JBL equipped models. Question - if it was just you and the wife and had to choose one vehicle... What do you pick - Tundra or 4R? Trying to decide myself 😅
I made that choice not too long ago. I chose my Tundra TRD PRO over my 4R TRD PRO. Tundra has more overall capability IMO especially for long highway trips.

I just got a new 2021 tundra and I can’t figure out where the indicator light is when you turn on the proximity camera with the button on the steering wheel. The lane change sensor has an indicator light on the front computer but I cannot see how to figure out whether the proximity sensor is on or off except when I am actually parking and I fiddle with it to make sure it’s on

I actually don’t see the point in the remote start if it will turn off when you unlock the door or get in. I think that it is lame. They shouldn’t have it period. Anyhow, I can’t to get this Tundra. I just ordered mine.

@@Matt56258 What year. I changed my settings on the radio unit, I believe under vehicle from one door to all door unlock. Even my touch will unlock all doors on entry. On my wife's Highlander I changed it to driver's door only for her safety.
This is an aftermarket tonneau cover, it’s the BAKFlip MX4 finished in Line-X. I purchased mine from a line-x dealer here in WA. Cost around $1100. The BAKFlip MX4 without the finish can be found for $800-900 I think...

I have a 19 PRO CM and holding the key down opens the sunroof, not the windows which makes me think it can be programmed to open all windows.

Front windows and sunroof if you have it, another gem is hold it in the lock position and it closes them

@@Matt56258 What year. I changed my settings on the radio unit, I believe under vehicle from one door to all door unlock. Even my touch will unlock all doors on entry. On my wife's Highlander I changed it to driver's door only for her safety.

This is an aftermarket tonneau cover, it’s the BAKFlip MX4 finished in Line-X. I purchased mine from a line-x dealer here in WA. Cost around $1100. The BAKFlip MX4 without the finish can be found for $800-900 I think...

Thanks a lot man! The Tacoma has some Toyo Open Countrys and the Tundra has Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I prefer the Nittos.
@@UntamedMotors how does this Pro compare to SR5 with Sport Package for a guy like me who foresees mainly highway use for his Tundra? I don't want to pay for 18" instead of 20" wheels and then find out ride quality is rough. Thx.
@@teller1290 both are going to be solid picks. Just a matter of preference is all. I personally love the exclusivity of the Pro... both will share a soft ride... great steering feel too.

Have you considered fender flares on your truck to protect against rocks and dirt/mud from scratches?
I considered the bushwackers for my previous army green 4Runner but ultimately decided against them... they were just too extreme looking for my taste...
