Awesome that is the hinges I should have used 😢. I used the ones with the screws on the outside but with the spring close and still used the door catch.

Hi Heather, I really enjoy your videos, even when you mix the kitchen cabinet doors-different panels! I've learned quite a bit from your experiences. Cant wait for the next project! Have you worked on any toy haulers or RVs that have been through flood damage?

I haven’t worked on flood damaged campers…I imagine that’s a can of worms. But probably no more extreme than the water damage on this camper honestly 😂

Insets in cabinet doors don't match and perhaps the middle door should have opened to the left

Thanks for all the videos and information about how these things are out together. It's been great information. How does that paint hold up over time? Any issues with peeling or bubbling being in a mostly non-climate controlled environment?

No issues with peeling or bubbling. I have seen some extremely high use areas on cabinets have some small chip areas (but that was in a food truck, a normal person isn’t going to open the same cabinet 100 times a day 😂). As long as the primer has enough time to cure I haven’t had any issues. If it dosent have enough time to cure, it will scratch pretty easy on cabinets.

@@fallenintocamping Thanks! That makes me feel better about painting ours. Keep up the great work.

Did you build these cabinets or just refinish the existing? I had to completely gut my living quarters in my horse trailer and am having to rebuild everything. I’m struggling with cabinets! 😂 specifically the refrigerator cabinet and venting. Any tips?

I didn’t build these, but I do have a video on how I custom build cabinets and cabinet doors! Look back to before the RV renovation and demo series and you’ll find it! It’s from a cabinet I built for a food truck, but I build them in horse trailers and RVs the same way
