    I see a lot of comments complaining about this or that that they didn't like or don't want to do... but this video is to give you ideas and teach you something new... if you don't like something just don't do it in your home... not everything has to be what you personally like....

    • @blackvelvetno1
      @blackvelvetno1 7 ปีที่แล้ว +26

      Thank you. I was thinking the same thing. Its about what the renters want.

    • @misscherryblossomm
      @misscherryblossomm 7 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      I dont see any nasty comments just people adding to the conversation. Its a public video people are allowed to comment whatever they want.

    • @manatilove1
      @manatilove1 7 ปีที่แล้ว +39

      @willows I didn't say the comments were nasty... I will reiterate what I said since you felt compelled to try to put me in my place, was that people are complaining about things that they do not have to implement in there own home if they don't feel the need too.... Also if people are allowed to complain about the video then I'm am allowed to complain about the people... 😀👍✌

    • @s731s
      @s731s 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      lorimar matos no one is putting you in your place, She's just sharing that she doesn't view comments with your perspective. I don't share your perspective either, but like you said we're all entitled to our opinions ✌

    Love your videos, so glad to see a new one! I am so inspired by a woman doing actual home improvements solo, beyond just decorating or basic glue gun diy. I'm a single homeowner of 10+ yrs, and there is so much I still want to do. Thank you for the inspiration!

    Thanks for sharing this! As a renter, I hate when everything is so bland. Being able to spice up my apartment and still get my security deposit is just what I need. Would love to see more of these. (Unfortunately, I've never had an apartment with any kind of backsplash. It's always cheap drywall and the lowest grade of paint possible. So, I think those tiles would do damage.)

    Just an FYI about Smart Tiles. When they're removed from dry wall they may take off chunks of the dry wall as well. Theyre a great rental alternative but not 100% damage free. I used them as a border in the guest bathroom of a condo I used to rent and it looked beautiful, as close to glass tiles as you could get. However, the take down process when it was time to move....not great. Even with a dryer and even using adhesive remover, we still had damaged dry wall. Which I then had to repair and then try to color match the custom paint that the landlord had in the bathrooms. Just wanted to put this out there for anyone thinking about applying these to drywall. They REALLY STICK! Applying over existing tiles obviously wouldnt cause damage.

    The white subway tiles are already nice. It was plain looking because there was nothing on the counter like some pop of color. I think the blue sticker back splash was too busy looking especially that it has 8 different patterns. Changing the knobs to copper, gold or even vintage bronze will createa great contrast from the white subway tiles and white cabinets. Green plants with white planter would have some fresh pop of color on the counter tops.

    Hey Isabelle, can you make a video on how to add privacy and soundproofing between floors? I live in an apartment where basement's been converted into a bedroom, but is directly connected to the living room through a flight of stairs (no doors!!).
