I have been watching since you gave the first tour of the empty house. I have to say you are one of the most amazing women I have ever met (I feel like I know you)! I am almost 70 and wish I had the strength and stamina you have. We currently have all our things in storage and living with our daughter while we are having a small house built. Moving out at this age was one of the hardest things I have ever done. It will be almost a year before our house is finished and I am sure hoping for some more help this time. God bless your family. Thank you! It was worth the effort, but I think it will be the last renovation we do on our own. It definitely gets harder as we get older!😅 I wish you all the best for your move. Enjoy the process as much as possible and I know you will love your new home! 😊🏡💛
Hi, Robin. I’m just wondering if you and Patrick considered yourself very handy DIYers before you started this amazing renovation. You both seem so knowledgeable throughout the entire process. Love how it all turned out!
Your kitchen is so beautiful! The style is perfect for your home! You and your husband are so hard working!! I you can really enjoy that space after working so hard at installing it yourselves!!
Everything turned out amazingly. You all did a wonderful job. For me, I did love the traditional cabinets but I do love your new cabinets as well. Lots of work but it all paid off in the end. Praise God ~Janet 😋
The only thing different I’d do is. Take those top cabinets out that are by the exhaust fan. Too crowded and oil and cooking just gets them dirty. I’d place floating shelves instead.
imma be honest, the kitchen looked much more friendly and cozy before. now it's kinda lifeless and a little bit too white. but nice work nonetheless, certainly looks more modern now
Real-time or wonderfully edited, it is a beautiful kitchen!! I so enjoyed seeing it all again, noticing so many more details this time. God bless those who eat meals made with love there!! May your stomachs and hearts always be overflowing!❤🙏🏻
Your Patrick is a very talented and wise man. I’m amazed at how he was able to demolish your kitchen while preserving the cabinets and doing it in an order that made sense and was safe.
Robin it was so fun to see from the beginning to the final transformation and it is just beautiful! I love the choices you both made and my goodness you both are hard workers! You always have such a sweet smile even while working so hard! I love the decor as well. God’s blessings upon your week!
Robin- loved watching your earlier renovation videos, and watching it all come together again in this video was fun. I hope you enjoy your Ikea kitchen for years to come. 10 years ago we had our Ikea kitchen installed in our apartment in Venice, Italy. Watching a boat full of Ikea boxes made it's way down the Grand Canal on installation day was a once in a lifetime experience!. The guys who did the installation were miracle workers. Hats off to you and Patrick for tackling that one. We loved the kitchen so much we decided to move it with us when we relocated to a tiny island in the south of Italy. Still today, after 10 years, this Ikea kitchen is perfect. So, I'm confident you will have years of happy cooking in your lovely Ikea kitchen.
Wow Karen! That must have been something to see. I appreciate your feedback on the Ikea cabinets and that they have proved to be durable and that you still love them!😊🏡💛

I just bought a house built in 1976. The kitchen needs a renovation desperately. Every renovation video I see, the before looks better than the after 😂
Both are nice, but for me I would have just stained the wood cabinets and put down a new porcelain floor, and changed the backsplash. Like I said, both were nice though.
Hi Robin - oh my, how wonderful to see this transformation all at one time. I saw it as you went along but it really makes a difference to see it all at one time and all the steps some I had forgotten about it. You really did a good job in your selection of things. I also have updated all of my light fixtures but I still have the same cabinets countertops and tile floors. I’ve been making plans for what my next small house will look like. You’ve given me some ideas. I really like your floors. I don’t think I’m going to be sad to leave this house even though it’s the one that I raise my kids in and have lived in all these years. Although I was there at the beginning, I loved seeing it all come together in one video! I'm tired just watching you guys work. The end results are stunning!
So lovely. The beverage area is beautiful as is the new window molding. Adore your new dining room set. I love the style of the original kitchen cabinets. I’d have painted the cabinets, changed the hardware, backsplash, counters and flooring. Then added the shiplap. I say this because it’s exactly what I did in my actual kitchen. Haha. You guys were all in on your project. You made it look easy too. But I know it was a lot of work.
Thank you for not using the sledgehammer approach to your renovation. Far too often reusable materials are destroyed when they''re perfectly good for someone else. Nice job on the remodel.
I have been watching you since the beginning; When did you get a job? I thought you were a stay at home mom. I have had both dark cabinets in my home which find for about 20 years; the last 18 years in the home we remodeled the kitchen and had white; we recently moved the cabinetry in this kitchen is cherry wood; though my children were trying to get me to paint them I loved the richness of the look; I also found white cabinets needed cleaning all the times; they collected a lot of dust.
Hi Robin, Your kitchen looks light, bright and very pretty. You and Patrick worked very hard. It's nice to show how you did your remodel. I'm sure it will inspire others. Have a wonderful day! xo, Karen
I am so happy for you. You can tell how excited you are that the kitchen remodel has started. It is very interesting following you along your journey. Thank you.
I really enjoyed watching this recap of your kitchen remodel, I LOVE your kitchen! It's so beautiful, you really did a very professional job. Thank you for the compilation I loved it!
We have the same situation now, and although the wood looks good from outside, although orange/brown, there are many issues on the inside. We wanted to salvage the whole thing, but it seems we have to replace everything. You did what you needed to do. And that is what is important. God bless.
We redid our kitchen in white on our last home. I have to say that I really missed the warmth of a wood kitchen, however I think where you live has a lot to do with it. Our last home was down south and the white was perfect for a coastal decor, while we are now up in the Midwest and wood kitchens and moldings are what most people want. It's a super nice renovation.
How wonderful to see it all from beginning to end! And what great results you achieved! 👍Just by seeing all the work you put in, I felt exhausted for Patrick and you!!!! But now, your kitchen and dining room look exactly how you wanted it, light, bright and airy, and so cosy! I noticed a small detail as you progressed in the renovations, and it made me laugh a little: it was to see how much your hair grew! It was and indicator of how much time it all took!!!! ☺ You must be so proud of you and the work you have done! I have always enjoyed looking at the both of you working together because I admire your team work. But looking at it in fast forward made it even more obvious! You and Patrick are a great team! Thanks for sharing! It was very interesting! God bless you! 😍💕🌷

Hi Robin! You and Patrick did a wonderful job on this reno! My goodness--what a lot of work! You both have the patience of Job! Glad to see that you are still together--LOL!!! Enjoy your new home!
I think I mentioned this when you were doing the reno but I loved that you didn't use a sledge hammer on the cabinets. What a waste. And that seems to be the approach so many of the renovation/redecorating shows use - I suppose for dramatic effect. Any way, good for you to avoid wasteful destruction.
You and Patrick did a marvelous job on your kitchen. It's welcoming and beautiful. This was a fun recap, I got to see some parts I somehow missed the first time. 😅
What a job you two did on the kitchen and your entire house. I watched all your videos during the renovation process. You guys did an outstanding job throughout. Your kitchen process was very interesting to watch and your selection for the kitchen so fit you. Thanks for sharing this video.
Robin, I enjoyed this video so much even though I have already seen the process in real time. We have been working on a kitchen from IKEA as well at our mountain home and it has been a big job. I am so inspired by you in so many ways but really appreciate your patience and calm demeanor during a stressful time. Your kitchen is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing the details.
Great job. We are coming down the finish with our new build. Sheet rock stage right now. Thanks for sharing your design ideas and homemaking inspiration.
I loved watching this transformation take place over several months, Robin….and it was fun to see it compiled into one video! 🥰♥️ Looks wonderful! ~ Audrey
Looks lovely, homely, clean & manageable- practical, a lot of hard work for you all but worth it, well done & thank you, watching from the UK, God bless you richly in your new home & lush kitchen 👏👏🙏🌟✝️🔥🙌🦅🥳🥳
The original kitchen looked great, and from what the video shows it looked like it was essentially perfect/clean. You should have done simpler upgrades first like replacing the outlets and switches to white Lutron decor style, change flooring, add some white flowers around the kitchen…. The end result looks like my cheap apartment, simple and sterile. IKEA is fine…. I would wager an educated guess that your old cabinets and counters were a fair bit more sturdy. Glad your happy though.
I love your kitchen .You both did a wonderful job of renovating it .I love the colours .I watched it over the months that ye put it together .Lovely to see it from beginning to end Well done. Blessings from Ireland .

Hi Robin, Your kitchen looks light, bright and very pretty. You and Patrick worked very hard. It's nice to show how you did your remodel. I'm sure it will inspire others. Have a wonderful day! xo, Karen
Absolutely LOVE the wall color. Your kitchen is absolutely beautiful. The end results are stunning!
Thank you and God bless!😊🏡💛
You must be so proud of you and the work you have done! I have always enjoyed looking at the both of you working together because I admire your team work. But looking at it in fast forward made it even more obvious! You and Patrick are a great team! Thanks for sharing! It was very interesting! God bless you! 😍💕🌷
Thank you Monique! We appreciate you coming along and encouraging us the whole time. God bless you and your family as well!😊🏡💛

Hi Robin! Watched the “real time” renovation and it was so nice to see it in one video. Love what you have done and love your beautiful new home. Much love and blessings for a great week!

is it just me or does the before actually look nicer
Great video! I bet y'all are skilled in geometry and with jigsaw puzzles. I hope this was as satisfying as it appears. You did a wonderful job! Bravo!
Thank you! 😊🏠💛
Hi Robin! You and Patrick did a wonderful job on this reno! My goodness--what a lot of work! You both have the patience of Job! Glad to see that you are still together--LOL!!! Enjoy your new home!

Hi Robin! I really enjoyed watching you and Patrick renovate your beautiful home. Thank you for sharing 🇦🇺💜🌹💖
You are so welcome Maggy! Thank you!😊🏡💛
Con amor y voluntad y esfuerzo todo se puede y ustedes lo hicieron gracias señora Robin 👏👏👏👏🙏
Thank you so much Maria!😊🏡💛
I know you are enjoying your new kitchen. When going through the process, you wonder "will this ever be done" and then, it is!
Oh yes Evelyn! Absolutely!!!😂 Have a blessed Sunday!😊🏡💛
Thank you Kathy! We are glad that most everything could live on in another home too. Have a blessed week!😊🏡💛
You and Patrick did a marvelous job on your kitchen. It's welcoming and beautiful. This was a fun recap, I got to see some parts I somehow missed the first time. 😅
Thank you Cynthia! Have a blessed week ahead!😊🏡💛

What a job you two did on the kitchen and your entire house. I watched all your videos during the renovation process. You guys did an outstanding job throughout. Your kitchen process was very interesting to watch and your selection for the kitchen so fit you. Thanks for sharing this video.
Thank you so much Joyce!😊🏡💛
Robin, I enjoyed this video so much even though I have already seen the process in real time. We have been working on a kitchen from IKEA as well at our mountain home and it has been a big job. I am so inspired by you in so many ways but really appreciate your patience and calm demeanor during a stressful time. Your kitchen is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing the details.
Why not go with custom built cabinets???
Great job. We are coming down the finish with our new build. Sheet rock stage right now. Thanks for sharing your design ideas and homemaking inspiration.
Thank you Susan! I hope that completion of your project comes soon and that you love it! God bless!😊🏡💛

Indeed! 🥰♥️
Ooh..that was fun to watch! Love the light fresh version now. I like the demo best and the imagining of the new.
Thank you so much and God bless!😊🏡💛
Well done! Your kitchen is absolutely beautiful. May it bring you lots of wonderful family time. 🌸🌼🌸🌼
Very beautiful kitchen! I would love more than anything to have a modern kitchen. I have oak and dark granite from the 80s.
It’s beautiful. The other kitchen was also very nice, but if you’re not into a dark kitchen then it makes sense to change it out.
I love your kitchen .You both did a wonderful job of renovating it .I love the colours .I watched it over the months that ye put it together .Lovely to see it from beginning to end Well done. Blessings from Ireland .
Thank you so much Anne! Have a blessed start to your week!😊🏡💛
I really enjoyed watching the kitchen come together. You and Patrick seem to work well together ❤️
Thank you! I think so too!😊🏡💛
I like both white and wood cabinets. Your house is beautiful.
Thanks so much Wanda and God bless!😊🏡💛
Your kitchen looks fantastic, are the countertops from IKEA as well and did you install those yourself?
I love your new kitchen. I am going to remodel my kitchen too. And I am very inspired by your kitchen .
Cabinets from before seemed more expensive and of better quality in terms of material. maybe they could be repainted? The new ones look modern because of the color but they look cheap 😢
Thanks for making this video! It's so wholesome to watch both of you doing the disassembly and assembly. I wanted to say "couple goals"! Your new kitchen looks amazing!
