Now its a baby Typhon mate! Perfect! - It's almost as Arrma knew that people would do a brushless implant. Great race car now indeed. For the cost of a small brushless system, This little beast is a must have. PERFECT for track racing, Quick, agile and strong. Well done mate, She's a ripper! Good on Arrma for keeping the price down and thinking ahead! 10/10.
That's it! It's not really overpriced as a lot of people think considering just the strength of basically all the components. It is actually quite fast stock standard so you don't have to go nuts on a system in most cases. But no it doesn't cost that much for even a great quality brushless setup at this size so it's way more appealing and affordable in the long term than most budget brands in my opinion👌
@@rccrazy I 100% Agree bro!! - Oh, I have a brand new 6s BLX Mojave coming next week! ...I never realised how mental they are until I started looking into them. I was going to buy the 6s Typhon but I have 3x Hyper Hobao buggys in which one does 110kph so I couldn't justify another buggy in that size so went the 6s Mojave. Having said that, I will be buying a couple of the baby Typhons mate, People in the USA are modding the heck out of them much like yourself!! - One dude has it up to 100kph already!! I think when I get them, My MJX collection will take a back seat for awhile. And also, How bloomin cool do they look?!?! Possibly the best small scale buggy ever released thus far. I am exactly the same when it comes to Truggies, adore them but I already got too many😅 I don't have a great deal of buggies but I'm really starting to enjoy them aswell including this beauty! Only problem I'm having is parts availability here in Australia especially the upgrade diffs, I've talked to Arrma and its not looking good for us down under sadly. Going to have to pay out the back side buying from US sellers😱
@@rccrazy Man that's not good news at all, Might have to pillage a few shops while they have stock. Thanks for the heads up brother. Keep up the fantastic work, Keep blasting!! Take care
Arrma should have gotten on the mini-train YEARS ago, I can't believe how durable these little fellas are. Can't wait until they release more! I'll be picking up all of them lol
It was kind of a given that whatever they produced would most likely be superior compared to most budget cars. I'm also surprised they only just just on board recently. BUT, they are not doing a good job providing upgrades to us here in Australia, I've been waiting about 2 months for the upgrade diffs to be available ANYWHERE, they are non existent sadly😥
@@rccrazydude i live in America and we've had pretty much the same issues, i ordered steel diffs for my grom a little over a month ago and from what I've heard we're finally getting them later this month
@professional_hater885 yeah it's very disappointing coming from a company like Arrma. I have ordered 4 now, 2 stock diffs over 2 months ago, claimed to be in stock aswell and they still haven't been shipped🤯😤
Awesome run Brother 😱. You were completely sending her off the big ramp 👀. Can't believe she took those boulder hits. What a tough little ripper!!! 🍻😎💪👊👊
Hey thanks man👊 Yeah it took way more than I expected especially with the boulder tickles😆 I'm glad you got yourself one Rich, not quite like the big rigs but still lots of fun👌
That thumbnail had me rolling man! 😆 Proper RC Crazy, and you keep doing you! I like seeing what abuse the new cars can take, and this one does not disappoint. Other cars would have shattered into a hundred pieces hitting a boulder like that😁😆 ..Arrma tough!🏎💨🦾
Yeah not much else you can really say given the impacts, has to be ARRMA TOUGH🤪 And yes I thought I'd keep the thumbnail simple but telling, they young fellow in the middle looking straight up😂 Thanks mate🤘
Full crowd in that session mate. Tough as nails mate tempted for one but just don’t have the time to use it unfortunately so will just get my enjoyment out of seeing you tear it up! Looking forward to the granite grom wheels video 👍🏻👍🏻😎
Yeah all the young boys ripping it up on the MTBs, I did a few jumps for old time sake, ouch my back😵 I will do my best to entertain you until you can get out for a bash yourself👍 The Granite wheels were AWESOME! Will get to editing it soon, backed myself up with too many videos again🥴😆 Thanks as always Michael!
@@rccrazy that’s what I’m thinking. With brushless + MT tires it could be a mad flipping and actually landing platform. An MT body would probably also help roll back on its wheels. Would love to know if there is a body that fits.
I have a video coming soon of exactly that, I just used the Granite wheels being wider and more offset, it was awesome😃 Not sure about compatible bodies but I imagine there would be a few.
Thanks mate👍 But I couldn't spend 60+ usd for just a motor when I can get one with similar specs for $25aud And I don't think the 60a would fit under the shell unless you run no fan.
Thanks for the great video, any diff issues? I keep reading about diff issues, and people are looking for the metal diffs from Arrma but not available uet!😊
Your welcome and thank you! I have actually just damage the first diff, the plastic internal gears. Not sure were you live but I have contacted Arrma about parts availability, for us down here in Australia it doesn't look like we will ever have the upgrade diffs😬 They didn't seem to care to much either which is very disappointing for Arrma😥
Awesome!! I have a question, I wanted to put a 45amp hyper go esc with a 6850kv 2840 tenshock motor. Does thae kv seem to high for 3s or do you think it'll be ok. I always get confused on what kv to order?
45a is pretty decent but a almost 7000kv 28mm motor is absolutely pushing things on 3s, esc and motor danger! I'm running a Hobbywing Quicrun 10-BL-60a esc and 6000kv 2840 motor in my Granite Grom on 2s ONLY and that is pushing it a little, 3s would 100% kill the motor so 6850 will burn most likely aswell. I would try and stay around 5000kv on 3s with most 45a escs👍
Thank you Dan👍 Yes one is for the Bumpers themselves(front and rear) The other is for the loop set to mount them to the top of the diff housings. You don't specifically need the loops but they definitely add even more strength👌

It's very nice mate! I would have to say the Typhon because it's a little bit more stable and I can really tell at higher speeds and in corners, would make a SICK track car😃
I was having the same issue, all I ended up doing was getting some with 3mm bore and used a 3.175mm rotory tool/Dremal drill bit to open the hole. I think I got them from Aliexpress
The problem is you will struggle to cut it if your going straight to 3.17mm. You must work your way through drill bit sizes only taking a little steel of at a time, 2.5mm, 2.8mm, 3mm then 3.17mm
