- As the attack on Orb continues, the Earth Force Fleet sends out the Jet Windams to face off against ZAFT. Shinn Asuka pilots the Destiny and wipes out most of the Jet Windams until one of them is saved by the timely arrival of Strike Freedom (Kira Yamato) who descended from the sky. Shinn battles Kira until he is forced to retreat to resupply. While Kira continues to wander off the area, Athrun heads out to pilot the Infinite Justice to give Kira a hand in battle while trying to stop Shinn's hatred towards Orb.

They both basically animated frame-by-frame.
Over all amazing work as always! I just noticed a thing that I have also been struggling with in my own animations, and that is weight and momentum. When we animate small figures it's very easy to forget that they are supposed to be about 18m tall and weigh at minimum 60 tons, so pretty damn heavy. Meaning that they need a damn lot of thrust to take off and slow down in the air. I suggest adding more large thruster effects when taking off/speeding up and braking, then it would look perfect! Although I see they your source material isn't cutting you any slack. 1:30 Look at how fast that Windam slows down and speeds up, it looks like a hummingbird on meth instead of a giant war machine! Hell even GN powered ms couldn't do something like that with their magic sunlight pixie dust anti-gravity engines and the Windam pulls it off with just regular ol' thrusters! The physics of Seed's animation is something that really grinds my gears. E.g. even if you have MS that can fly both in the atmosphere and in space (like the main Gundams) they would still move differently! While the only difference in animation is that the background is different and the grunts have atmospheric backpacks. In short, amazing animation, add more thruster effects next time and it will be even better!

@@AerosZeroM78 great until you realize that the RG Destiny is an "early real grade", therefore overtime it'll fall apart, barely stand, and break down. The plastic and a psuedo-polycap framework used is the reason why.

He uses it on & off whenever he needs it, I guess.
He just uses it as a boost at the start to accelerate to max speed in a short period of time. Everytime destiny launches, wings of light is activated in case u din realise
Judging from the video, I think that Aeroszero must hate Murasame, Legend Gundam (as well as its pilot Rey Za Barrel) very much，anyways still kudos to Aeroszero for this awesome video.
I don't hate Murasame, Legend Gundam or any other Seed/Destiny Mobile Suits. I just don't have all of them in general, since some of them have very limited articulations of posing. If they were made in Revive ver., I would definitely get them asap.

Kira probably tries to protect Athrun from Shinn so he doesn't get to attack Athrun or anything.

Never understood why he even had a physical shield attached.
Maybe for extra protection.
Actually, if the beam shield was lost or destroyed, the physical shield will act as a replacement. Otherwise, it would be used as to assist the beam shield in blocking powerful beam attacks from weapons that had the strength of the Tannhauser or Lohengrin.
@@matthewyeung68 See that's a smart way of thinking about it, but never once had that ever happened to Shinn in the anime while he piloted the Destiny Gundam and it just seemed more like an aesthetic choice.
