Make sure you only give her something (toy, food, pets) when she has all her paws touching the floor. Some times it is also a sign of high excitement. @@plantifulalex i wanted to ask about some of his behaviors: 1) he has began a stage where he is demand barking (loud and hard) when anyone goes into the kitchen or fridge. I feel like his nose has developed all of a sudden and since his playpen is set up adjacemt to the kitchen it triggers him into this crazy barking mode for about 20-30 min following us heating up his food (that he can smell). He'll cry after maybe 25 min and finally relax. At this point we feed him and reward the quiet behavior. Wait.. she holds it all night? Others keep telling you have to set the alarm every two hours at night, so that she doesn't pee all night. So, even when you just got her, that wasn't a thing? Please give me advice, I've been super interested in golden retrievers, and want one. does it matter if I don't have a garden and live in an apartment but will take him out for walking? 💕
I'd say it is definitely manageable. If the dog is in a tiny space and not given exercise, then maybe not. It depends on your lifestyle. If you are able to give the pup a lot of walks and maybe get to a dog park so it can socialize, I'd say go for it!
I really want a puppy but I have two cats my mom's friends cat is pregnant and I will maybe be getting one of them and I have to move into a different house soooo 🥺
here to say making a carnivorous animal eat only plants because of your ethical views is animal cruelty. do not have a pet if you're not going to feed it what it needs to be healthy and happy.
@@plantifulalex I was worried when you said that you're considering putting her on a plant-based diet because there are proteins in plants. No judgement, but did you get her from a breeder? If so, did u feel guilty for getting a dog from a breeder? A tip to prevent jumping on people, is to have the person, or yourself turn away from the the dog. If needed, ignore the dog and walk away. She is beautiful!

OMG IM GETTING ONE IN 12 HOIRS I CANNOT SLEEEEPPPPPPP
How did it go?!!!
omg so exciting!!!!!!!!
Yay she is safe now! Sorry I wasn't active lol I was super exited 😟 she is very crazy too!
@@pixelgonzalez9065 enjoy it!!
Aha I will get one in 2023 ;( I am happy but it’s like SoOo Farr awayyyy
Time flies though! Now you have a lot of time to prepare:)
Hi..haha my golden is like 9 years and i think he wants to sleep more but he olso runns more ig
I have a question, is it fine if i get a golden but keep it as an outside pet in my back yard??
My personal opinion is definitely not:(
I'm getting a golden puppy in a month!
But I'm just confused abt whether it should be a girl or a boy
Can someone help me with it?
I've always had boy dogs growing up but I will say having a girl dog has been SOOO sweet!
@@plantifulalex okay thanks!
Hi! So me and my family were thinking about getting a golden, but when all of this 🦠 ends I will have to go to school and my parents to work BUT we do have a small garden in our house do you think the puppy will be able to do all they’re needs there? (It’s not a very big garden)
I'm glad you are thinking all of this through! I think it's fine if you are somewhere where you can go on a couple walks daily and also have a place where the dog can run. If they have built up energy, thats when they misbehave. I hope that helps!
@@plantifulalex Thanks for responding! Yes I actually live I front of a dog park so I’m planning on talking the puppy on walks often since it’s infront of my house!
I’m getting a puppy and also we’re getting a new house ! And I’ve been beggingggggg my mom and dad for a golden and finally I’m going to get a golden pupyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy oh and I have a few questions
1. Does the golden have to much furr and shed?
2. Do the golden pup disturb you when you sleeps
And lastly can they live a without peanut because I’m allergic to peanut
they can live without peanuts
@@xxviigia ok thxxxx
Did you get one?? They definitely shed so you have to keep up with cleaning and vacuuming but its so worth it. I'm a clean freak but I deal with it haha They can totally stay away from peanuts and be fine
She is absolutely so sweet that face💋❤️❤️😍🐶
I kiss her alllll day long!
Please make a video about golden shedding 😊
haha good idea... it definitely is a thing:)
How much dog food do u feed her ? Cos I'm getting one !
Dog food should all have a chart on the packaging because its all specific to their height and age. She used to have three meals a day until about 6-7 months and now she eats twice a day.
Aww such a cute puppy...I wanna get a golden retriever when I'm older... You are so beautiful.. Kinda look like Emily blunt❤️😁
You're so sweet, thank you! I highly recommend getting one if you are in the position to:)
I am getting a golden retriever and its allowed puppys and I am getting it in 2 weeks
So exciting!!!
Your link for Nala's favorites isn't working
Its fixed now, thanks!
How do people have dogs with 9-5 jobs? I really want a dog but I know when things open back up I will be going to work in the city so its not sustainable to come home over lunch :( help!
I totallllyy get that! I have no idea how people do that especially with a puppy because they need so much the first few months. I got my pup after I left my 9-5. People definitely do it though. Maybe with a dog that is already potty trained and able to not be in a crate all day is a much better situation. Good luck!!
I bought a golden retriever she got hair on her face can somebody help me did 12 weeks old puppies have hairs on her face
make a video a day in my house with my dog
Good idea!
Does hair get in the kitchen?
on the floor but it's never an issue getting into the food or anything like that when I'm cooking, thankfully!
Lol her one bedroom apt is way bigger than a lot of other one bedroom apartments lol
its about 800 sq ft not the biggest but grateful regardless
I've been begging my parents to get me one, we sadly don't have alot of space, we live in a building, apartment. Please give me advice, I've been super interested in golden retrievers, and want one. does it matter if I don't have a garden and live in an apartment but will take him out for walking? 💕
I was in this same situation then my mom recommended Clairesmith7325 on insta who sold my pup for me including her crates and toys
I'd say it is definitely manageable. If the dog is in a tiny space and not given exercise, then maybe not. It depends on your lifestyle. If you are able to give the pup a lot of walks and maybe get to a dog park so it can socialize, I'd say go for it!
@@plantifulalex that's right thanks dear
I am a golden retriever too! I will ask my mom to subscribe to this channel. she is a vegetarian and I get to eat lots of yummy veg food.
heading to your channel NOW!
I got my pup from cliare Smith on Facebook if you're in search of a pup you can message her as she have some pups available still
I really want a puppy but I have two cats my mom's friends cat is pregnant and I will maybe be getting one of them and I have to move into a different house soooo 🥺
it could still happen one day!
Beautiful breed got mine from a breeder in the US
here to say making a carnivorous animal eat only plants because of your ethical views is animal cruelty. do not have a pet if you're not going to feed it what it needs to be healthy and happy.
I don't feed her only plants for that reason. She is a carnivore.
@@plantifulalex I was worried when you said that you're considering putting her on a plant-based diet because there are proteins in plants. They're harder to digest and doesn't have all the amino acids. There's also a difference between surviving and thriving. I'm glad you're not imposing your ethical views on your pet. Thank you.
Just to clarify dogs aren’t carnivores, they are omnivores and can eat and thrive on vegetarian meal.
@@khushipopat4174 dogs don't thrive on veveteriam diet. They resort to plant food when meat is not available to survive. Look at their digestive tract. Try to feed grains and vegetables to a dog and you'll see lol
@@khushipopat4174 Yes thank you for clarifying! Totally what I meant to say. She consumes both!
Hey, I really liked the video! :)
Could you tell me more about having a golden in a 1 bedroom appartment? I'm seriously considering getting a golden, however, living in a 1 bedroom appartment has always stopped me doing it. How have your experiences been?
I literally thought the same exact thing. It's been completely fine! I never even think about it anymore because issues about space haven't come up. Now that her crate is put away it's even better.
Aaaw soo cute
I would ask your Vets opinion before you do it It’ is just a constructive criticism
Don’t you want what’s best for her
You got a like form me 👍 yes, dogs are meat eaters by nature, dogs aren’t meant to be vegans, it is quite unhealthy for them
nice dog
She's the best!
❤🐶❤
I guess your landlords allow big dogs some landlords don’t allow big dogs only small ones
True! We got her registered as an emotional support dog too so sometimes that can help with apartment rules.
No judgement, but did you get her from a breeder? If so, did u feel guilty for getting a dog from a breeder? A tip to prevent jumping on people, is to have the person, or yourself turn away from the the dog. If needed, ignore the dog and walk away. She is beautiful!
No we did not get her from a breeder. She thankfully has stopped jumping now!
Henlo new fren💛💛💛💛
hello!
Being cute doesnt make you auto good pet owner
thank you for your wisdom carol
I would ask your vet before I would let you be a Vegan Diet might not be a good idea
