- This is so crazy. I've always wanted a golden retriever. The opportunity arose extremely last minute so we decided to just go for it and now we have our baby girl, Nala. I'm so excited to share our journey bringing home our puppy! Thanks in advance for watching and supporting!

You know that you should never get dogs from pets stores as the dogs at pet stores are from puppy mills . Reputable breeders are the human and best way apart from adopting and shelter to get a dog .
I honestly had no idea until after the fact. So glad I know now! I hate that I even supported that. I love our little baby so I have no regrets but I’m happy to be informed now.

She’s feeling soo much better, thank you! We got the largest one bc she’s going to get big☺️ it has dividers in it so we can make the space smaller and adjust as she grows.
When you said she slept through the whole night do you also mean she didn’t wake up to go potty?

She became sick because you got her from a pet store. She may be a "rescue" but the reality is that she most likely came from a inresponsible breeder. I hope she does not get more health problems in the future.
You're totally right. I had no idea going into it what was actually going on. She has been fine ever since and she lives a healthy lifestyle now so we hope for the best!

Was a good thing you got her right to the vet and wish everyone would be that attentive to their fur babies when they are young AND when they are old. 💖💖💖
Couldn't agree more! It was a really rough couple week when she was sick. But she is living her best life now!!
Did she bite a lot first phew weeks ?
yes it was really annoying lol we just kept replacing toys in front of her and saying YES and when she would bite us we firmly said no. It helped a lot!

@@marcleclair2261 how exciting! I think it lasted a month or two. It definitely takes a lot of patience but stay consistent and she will grow out of it!

Kimi Lin she’s an American golden compared to the English that are cream and usually more stalky. Nala is tall and golden:)

She is literally a new dog! We’re SOOO grateful. It was very scary there for a few days because of how quick she was declining.

Who did you get your puppy from?
I thought you said you got her from a private breeder who has been recomended? Why are all the comments saying you got her from a pet store?
I did not get her from a breeder, it was a pet store that I thought was a rescue. It was a pretty bad experience because she got sooo sick from the place. But we got her out of the situation and I'm so grateful!!

We had a horrible experience at Petland which I thought was a rescue place. Man, I was wrong. If you look up Bunnies Buddy’s, it’s a great organization where you can rescue retrievers from overseas. Check them out!

I was truly saddened to see that your precious baby was sick for 6 days, and then the video ended. I really felt for you, as I saw how much you loved her. I hope that Nala, Mum and Dad are all wonderfully healthy and happy together now. As for the NEGATIVE, indeed awful comments directed at you, I hope that you were able to deflect them sufficiently so that you could stay positive. I hope you’re not feeding her hills, royal canin, purina, or pedigree.. she would thrive on a raw food diet. I had a golden baby for 19 years because she was on a raw food diet and she had no cancer or issues because of her healthy diet :D
That incredible! I'm not giving her any of those. She's on Earthborn Holistic food. I definitely would do the raw diet too! I need to look into it more.
Goldens are not pets. This is a family adoption.
Not even joking. Goldens see you as family, want to be around you as much as possible and included in your life as much as possible. More so than other dogs typically. So my advice to anyone getting a Golden (advice that the couple in this video do NOT need, they get it), is to know that you are adopting a family member. Shift into that paradigm and it all goes easier with a Golden Retriever. They aren't good pets, but they are outstanding family members.
Not sure what you mean that we don't need her. She is 100% our baby!! Totally a family member.

Buying a pet land puppy is literally like buying a car from a bobs auto shack. Good luck knowing if that dog is predisposed for cancer, hypothyroid, hip dysplasia, or any of the genetic diseases that run in golden lines. SMH. Supporting puppy mills. This is what you shouldn’t do for anyone out there reading this.
I was unaware since it was such a last minute decision. I wouldn't go back there but I don't regret it because it gave me my little baby who has been the best thing in my life!!
