@@leahostrowski9003 Actually, when I was younger my parents had a Golden and a shih tzu and they were the best of friends. I would guess most Goldens would get along with almost anything!

Great video, this makes me miss my childhood Goldens. Growing up we had a boy and girl with the same color difference. Jax reminds me of my best buddy Buster, and Daisy of my Mom's favorite Jamie.

I have a golden! We use a top paw harness that has a handle on the top and a chest clip on it which is really really helpful when there’s other dogs or people cause then he can’t pull

I highly recommend a trip to the thrift store where I picked up a crib mattress well 4 actually for my pack lol. They are supportive and come wrapped in waterproof coverings then you can just go get some crib mattress sheets (again the thrift store rocks for these). Makes for a super easy and cheap dog bed. I add a fluffy blanket each for winter in case they want to burrow and snuggle. I have a border collie and a lab both over over 50 lbs my "baby" who is an enormous flatcoat/bernese or possibly newfie mix. And a tiny wire haired dauchund. Yes he has his own crib mattress lol. Also be careful with the smelly stuff like the dry shampoo and the destinky sprays. There are a lot of chemicals in these and also some of the chemical fragrances can upset your dog. Probs why they don't like it. Also colloidal silver we use for all kinds especially when someone ate something outside and got a tummy ache(Thuvia ate a squirrel eugh)?

We give our golden marrow bones that you can get at your butcher. We freeze the bones and he will chew them for hours!

A good treat recommendation is get freeze dried organ meet! A bunch of different brands sell them! Organ meet is the best thing you can feed your dog and they love them for treats!! :)

Would you recommend anything before they are neutered to help prevent infections? Would that spray help beforehand?
Abby Davidson just make sure you get a cone big enough so they can’t reach the area and lick. The cone we were given to start wasn’t big enough so he was able to lick it at night when I was asleep and not watching him. After we got him a bigger cone he was able to heal all the way.

Hi! So, I'd say a good age to have a dog of any sort (or, in this case, a golden) is about 18+. I'd say this range just because having a dog is a big responsibility, and at around 18 would be a prime age to go to your parents and ask them for a dog. Hope this helped ;)
