Good to see one last so long. I have a 2016 with slightly over 146000 on it. I am the third owner, aside from replacing the transmission at 130,000 the car has treated me well
@@M-t3chYeah, crank. The AP will give you estimated hp and torque numbers, but at the wheels, 210 or so is all you get with the stock turbo. My tuner says I'm making 210hp/276tq with a conservative stage 2 tune. I believe him.
@@M-t3ch you get a SYNC screen, but it’s absolutely tiny compared to the US Spec, no touchscreen and a load of buttons on the dash to control the screen.
When I see an st I think .. there goes a 17!year old with his pop and bang map … different in my day . We had sti version 4-5-6 and skylines, supras, celica GT4 , cosworths , rs turbos .. starlets and Chasers … times change I guess , personally wouldn’t entertain a fwd
I do love a fiesta st. But it has to be thr 2 door. I honestly didnt even know they done a 4 door st. In the uk a 4 door fiesta and corsa are looked as a granma cars
The fiesta st/st line in the uk seem much more aggressive than the ones in the US some small changes on the body I wouldn’t thought would be different between the US and UK
There is a guy selling on offer up here cali who’s in the army so he doesn’t need it and he selling it 5.5k it’s clean tittle 2014 fiesta st 138k miles I might buy or debating getting one with low miles idk yet
@ILLSMOKQ-xs6qs I can't speak to the 200lbs portion but I am 6'2 and fit in a Fiesta comfortably. The Focus offers more hatch space, is a little more comfortable, and more power. However, you sacrifice some driver's feedback and the nimblness that the Fiesta ST has loads of. Just depends on what your needs are.
We aren't really sure, the previous owner just has paperwork for replacing it. Our guess is high mileage. Either loss of compression or something failed internally warranting replacement.
Why does he need to drive fast ? Is it not a race car or track? And the car should be just a stock car ? It's a stick shift commuter car ? What is meant for

Love to hear it! I have heard they will blow through transmissions if they are shifted too fast.
I have one with 285k miles and it runs great. These cars are fantastic.
@@curseup That’s a ton! It's nice to see that they hold up to miles well.
So I have a 2016 ford fiesta. Tuned similarly to this one. And 240 is a bit of a stretch unless he’s on e30. My guess is around 205-210 whp.
Maybe 240 crank? That sounds about right; still potent for this very small car!

love this car, mine is currnetly on e30 tune and only 47k miles and it has no issues and its so fun on some nice back roads
They are fun cars! Perfect goldilocks power to weight backroad fun.
will never know why the euro spec ST Fiestas got a tiny screen compared to the US models
I have never seen a euro spec. Is it bad? The infotainment in this 14' model is behind by today's standards but I found it to be nice to use.

@@ravez1147 Yeesh, sounds terrible. Ours is definitely better compared to that.

@carsandstuff365 Different taste for different people. I like them all but I can only imagine how great it was to be a car person 10+ years ago.

I'd love to check out a 2 door! We never got them in the US. I am a 4 door person but they both look great.

That sounds like a steal. If it is nice I would jump on it quickly. They tend to hold up past 200k miles with no problem!

Replace an engine?? What was wrong before that

Much appreciated!
I hope he's done the timing belt.
I'd imagine the previous owner did when they swapped in the new engine.
240hp on stock turbo? I think not😂
@@LuckyClipsLC My friend says yes 🤷♂️
You drive like grany !
I know 😳
When someone is nice enough to let me drive their car, I don't abuse the privilege.
@bongodave13 Agreed, I drive it however the owner instructs me to. Some tell me to send it, others tell me to take it easier.
