While I do appreciate your comment on nobody ever being disappointed by CMC models, I bought this exact Ferrari 250 GT model from CMC and had to return three different examples. The first one had a fogged out headlight where it seems that the Chinese craftsmen spilled crazy glue on the clear lens. The second model that I received was missing the cheap speedometer decal. It was laying in the back seat. The third model was the (best). Not only were the wire spokes for the wheels bent, but there was rust on the suspension pins in the under-carriage. Give me a break. What a rippoff.
@A Maria - Wow, I believe you for sure, but from my experience, it's hard to believe. I say that as I am the fortunate owner of 21 CMC models and never had any issues on any of them. My guess is that you didn't purchase them from CMC direct, but through one of their distributors. If so, I'd be inclined to stay away from them!
