Cocona is pronounced like Coconut without the T. Not like cocoona. It is based on Japanese, Koko, short for Kokoro ( your heart) and Na, the sound. So her name is like the sound of your heart beating, and she is a rap master at the age of 18 now, 16 when she went viral with Galz Xypher Tape 2 with her Surround Sound beat cover, “C to the O- C-O-N-A be popping on those 808s.”. So here she is back rapping on those 808s, “C to the -O-C, OH Lord have mercy that’s me”, So she was born to rap to a beat, in a sense, when she was named by her parents to start it. Also, she really shaved her head in the MV, which you conveniently ignored trying to put them in with Linkin Park, lol. And you might relisten to what she is rapping while she is buzz cutting her hair, bars about the Bus. BTW, I moved away from Western Rap because it got too vulgar, talking bout the Club, the Gangstas, the S3x, genitalia, drugs, violence, etc. Sugarhill Gang c. 1979: recognized as the first to popularize the Rap music genre, I guess was Pop music Rap (actually it was Disco Rap). They have a rap line, a vocal line, and now majority of them are all rounders which means they can sing and rap and dance. They have the vox which is all vocals, the tapes are all rap, they have moves which is all dance practices and choreography. They do have alot if short videos but they fire as well. I luv this group. Their 1st debut was tippy toes. They came out 2yrs ago. All I'm gone say is you won't be disappointed and they don't ever miss.

The rap was a message rap. So yeah it’s pop rap on some level, but the point of this particular track is to announce this is yet another skillset they have no other groups do in their space. It's reactions like this that are a little under appreciated that make me click off the video. "They only had one or two bars"? bros fkn cray if he thinks this. do us a favors and actually check out the backstory on the group.
The reason a few of them are not like the others is because three of them are singers more than rappers. Their singing talents are really showcased in other songs.

I think you missed several bars. There’s a bar on the book written by Robert Greene, “48 Laws of Power.” There’s bars on couple of movies, Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift, and Everything, Everywhere, All at Once. Not to mention the eye of Sauron in the background (Lord of the Rings). XG is unlike any other girl group ANYWHERE! They don’t need to show their skin/booty/body part to act or look cool. Yea Cocona is ridiculous. All four are great but Cocona is the one that will get big on her own later and she’s only like 18 or 19 now. Do a reaction on that cypher, XG Tape #2. All four of them bring the bars on it. Rapping in English, Japanese and Korean. Cocona is #1 and Maya is #2 to me, based more on the strength of stuff in other songs. She didn’t do much in this one.
