You can where long skirts and all the above.. but if your heart is wicked and your sinful it will not change a thing. So if it was base on your clothes then you definitely say the men were questionable in those times. Modesty is for both male and female. When you have a true relationship with our Most High you will definitely have his convictions.

The more time that a person spends with the Lord, HE will reveal truth to them, and HE will transform their character, as long as they are willing to be transformed. I was one who wore jeans, dress pants, trousers, slacks, etc., but slowly, the Lord was convicting me of the need to change these things. I have since changed my wardrobe and have been wearing skirts and dresses, and it has been a blessing to me. I believe in modesty and in the message of dress reform. In addition, the way that we dress can serve as a witnessing tool. Let us seek to glorify GOD in all things! Maranatha!!! ❤🙏🏽❤

Hi everyone! When you receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, your body becomes the temple of the Holy Ghost! Reference scripture John 14:16-18 KJV. God doesn't accept just anything, he has set standards! God is Holy and he wants his children to be Holy as well! He gives us Pastor's to teach us his Word and the Holy Spirit to lead, guide and convict us, so that we are walking in God's ways and doing what is pleasing in the sight of God ! The wonderful thing about the Bible is that it will instruct us and tell us what God wants us to do and tell us how God wants us to live our lives! The guidelines in God's Word are there to protect us. God made a man and a woman; he wants men to dress like men and women to dress like women.

Oh Lord, where do I start? The Spirit of the Lord can only guide you if you are connected to Him. Many obey their own desires and call it the "Holy Spirit." PANTS were not invented when the Bible was written, with that said, the issue isn't about pants it's about the condition of the human heart. A "True," woman of God dresses from the inside out. When you have an intimate relationship with the Lord, His Spirit leads you, BUT you have to choose to obey.
I was told that if i didnt wear dresses that i may loose my salvation. I have had issues with the wind while wearing a dress and all modesty blew away and embare ass ment took its place. I wear pants as i work much better in them and i am warmer and feel more covered and comfortable. If God destroys me for this i will never understand and i know God is not like that.

This verse is speaking about cross dressing...let that sink in. Modesty is about rejecting wordly trends and dressing appropriately according to the Lord. I hope this helps
Sis, God is not legalistic, the spiritual realm is and so are people who read the Word of God without revelation. Certain people can wear things while others cannot. It all depends on your intention behind the things you do because God knows your heart and He will often show you your error in thinking with everything you do, including your clothing choices.
Remember, pants were not in the Bible days. Even men wore cloaks, so women wearing pants does not mean you are not holy or you are not going to heaven. It is about your heart and your personal relationship with God. If the Holy Spirit does not convict you and you are Spirit led and still modest, then how is it a sin?
