Fun Fact: Channing Tatum was a late addition! Seth Rogen emailed many actors who declined and just before they cut the scene Jonah Hill emailed Channing Tatum since they were close due to 21 Jump Street. Sadly it’s hard to come by. Wikipedia:
’Dogma is unavailable to stream or purchase digitally due to the film's rights being owned personally by Bob and Harvey Weinstein in a deal that predates streaming. It is also out of print on home media, leading to inflated prices among resellers. In 2022, in lieu of the release of Clerks III, Smith talked about trying to buy back the rights to Dogma from the Weinsteins. He claimed that both of his offers were "scoffed at" and added that "my movie about angels is owned by the devil himself."’

one of my favourite movie that resulted from a stoned conversation was Tusk, Kevin Smith was jokingly talking about a story someone sent in and a masterpiece of weird horror was born

I was actually the stuntman they used for the demon sleep assault scene ... They had a hard time finding people that fit the role and aren't already booked up nude modeling for adult cinema projects. I wasn't able to get it up all they way, but the casting director's wardrobe team said "Oh Herb, that's more than enough to show up well in the dark on film"... and I was all "Ok then, but it's not me at my best, just a halfsy-chub" and they were all "that is more than enough for the gag to work" so boom here it is on film. No prosthetic

When I was in high school, my friends and I played a D&D game where we essentially played versions of ourselves during the zombie apocalypse. Like, we made character sheets with stats resembling ourselves. We had all these plans about how we were going to acquire resources we actually knew about in real life, and go through a a training montage and come out as badasses. We didn't get very far because of infighting, and the fact that we were all petulant highschoolers. The game ended after a few session, which I think just means we died in the zombie apocalypse. This movie has that same very specific energy, and while it wasn't one of my favorite comedies when it came out, I appreciate it for that merit alone.

That scene where Rhianna smacked Michael Cera that was real. He asked if he could really slap her ass in the scene and she said only if she can hit him for real. He got hit so hard he had to lay down for a bit lmao

    Movie where actors plays themselves:
(At least a few of them.)
You have probably seen it, but *Being John Malkovich* (1999) MINOR SPOILERS BELOW
    ...
As themselves: John Malkovich, Charlie Sheen, Sean Penn and Brad Pitt.
As themselves (but only archive photo): Winona Ryder, Andy Dick, Isaac Hanson, Taylor Hanson and Zac Hanson.
Not sure if I got them all.

The same thing at Superbad movie reference:
Evan didn't tell his friend Seth that he's going to college with their friend Fogel at next year. So Fogel let cats out of the bag to his friend Seth about he's going to college with their friend Seth as they didn't tell Seth.
This is the End movie: Jay didn't tell his friend Seth about he was stay in Los Angeles two months ago at Four Seasons hotel with their friend Danny. Danny letting cats out of the bag about knowing Jay stay in Los Angeles two months ago at Four Seasons hotel with him before Jay goes back Los Angeles. They didn't tell Seth about it.
