Great Pickups! Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3 was designed by different studios for PS2 and PS1. The levels/objectives/soundtracks are different due to the limitations of the ps1 engine. Enjoy the game!
Oh nice! That’s good then I can keep my copy on the PS1 😂
Lovely stuff!!
👌
Thank you! 🙌🏻
Literally waiting for my laundry to be done at University... great timing
😂🙌🏻
It’s all good I’m here don’t panic Trebor man is back in da house 😂
🙌🏻🙌🏻
Sweet pick-ups, the highlights for me are the steering wheel with the pedals and the dj turntable. Great video Mitch
Thank you mate yeah nice score on the steering wheel! Glad it worked
Nice purchases mate, those aftermarket alloys where you bought the thrustmaster steering wheel & pedals remind me of the good old days when I used to do up vehicles I used to own.
Haha back in the day when we was 17 parked over tescos 😅
I've been on the lookout for the COD games on DS, I've never seen any at the boot sales before.
This is the second time I’ve seen one in the wild the first time I left it because I thought it was worthless 😅
Those pick ups were excellent, usually at my carboot there's nothing, too little on sale and too much competition, unless you want bundles of toilet roll, rusty old tools or four chickens for a tenner. One day I'll get a trade in like that steering wheel. Great video as always 👍
😂😂 yeah tbh we have all that for sale at mine as well. Car boots are hard though for sure!! Consistency is key though I’m sure you’ll get something in the future 🙌🏻
I watched a really good piece from a guy in the U.S who is a seasoned collector of comics and certain video games. I found it really interesting as in the U.S he was talking about the artificial inflation of comics and video games worldwide which is now declining back to some kind of normality for both sectors especially in the U.S. in his educated opinion he believes video games like comics will lose big value in the coming years for a variety of reasons. My question to you Mitch is do you think the same ?
I'm on the fence with it and am leaning towards we have hit a ceiling now and prices may plato. I think that when I'm seeing a game mint like rule of rose that I had going for £450 in cex it's getting really ludicrous.
It’s a tough one to say I like to think of video games as a wave rather than a bubble. So at the moment we’re most likely at the peak of snes/mega drive to ps1/ps2 era consoles from that generation. As the years go on those games will get cheaper but as people who are young now push into their 30’s the newer consoles ps3/ps4 etc will become more expensive as the nostalgia hits for those etc that’s just my humble opinion it’s most likely wrong. But I’ve always said never buy games as an investment as it’ll probably go south 😂
That poor girl looked like she was freezing bless her typical England I’m glad I’m not there anymore 😂💪
Classic British weather! 🥶
@@retro_rummage_ Move to Thailand and we shall go game shopping in Bangkok Mitch 💪👊
Should check them war plane games mate good value some
Where’s that mate? What time stamp please
best boot footage on the tubes
Thank you mate! 🙌🏻
First 🤣
Rise of Kage at 3:36 was a bolo sealed. If I'm buying regularly, I always say that I'll buy in bulk from them. Usually I'll be upfront and honest and say that some are for the collection, some are to resell. I've only had two people out of a large amount of new contacts made this summer who gave me a number and then didn't reply. Now whenever I go to the bootfair, I always have at least some stalls holding stuff for me, and I occasionally do private picks.
Oh really never heard of that. I’ll keep an eye out for it in the future! Yeah that’s one thing I need to do is make more of an effort with contacts!
@@retro_rummage_ Sometimes you have to pay up a bit to make the contact, and occasionally that might result in you breaking even the first time or the first few times, but if they can become a continual source of good quality items, it's worth it in the long run.
I've yet to make a contact that I've had continued contact with where I didn't profit overall and in some cases it's resulted in making friends.
Something you're already doing which is great is to make contacts with your competition, everyone has different business models and collects or has knowledge about specific things and sometimes you can help each other. Sometimes they'll even end up as a friend too.
I've seen a few people selling hmv dead stock cheap, they are from Blackpool. I was wondering if you had sold evik dead and taxi driver if not shot us a price:, vochers or cash .
Keep up the good work 😊😊
9:50 - I was waiting for you to offer 50p for that on the charity stall and then getting rinsed in the comments 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I thought about it 👀😂
You should build up contacts via car boot sales it helps during the winter when there are no car boots. It’s a win win on both sides
I really need to spend more time working on digging though DVDs. Some solid finds there! 🎉
Yeah mate lots of money to be made with DVDs. As always lots of fodder but some real gems out there 👍🏻
😊😅😮😮
Some awesome pick ups there Mitch, looks like you’ve had hell of a week
Thanks mate yeah was a good one!
Controller was ruined with LSD 😂😂😂
😂
I may be wrong in saying but do you actually ever show/tell the results of you trading in these itmes to cex? If not I think you should as it could give us an idea on the actual profit margin for trade.
I haven’t mate it’s something I’ve thought about doing i’ll maybe do a video of it in the future. Appreciate that 👍🏻
It makes you wonder where on Earth were the dvd couple getting all this great stock in?
It looked like old hmv stock to me so maybe they know someone who works there etc
