Oxfam, cancer research, and BHF really need to think about their pricing strategies. Have all 3 local to me and so overpriced. I pointed out in BHF that they had primark jeans priced at £8 manageress just stugged her shoulders. It's a shame as long term they will slowly close.
Good finds - you are really privileged down there in the South. Despite having the knowledge us Northern Resellers just don't come across items like this. When it comes to reselling its all about Location Location Location! Another good video
Nice ones George. Charity shops shouldn't be dismissed but it definitely helps to know which ones to frequent and which aren't worth bothering with as often. It's also good to bear in mind having a successful trip like this isn't a given and persistence is crucial. Besides, if you hadn't found anything it wouldn't have been as entertaining!
Hey George, top video as always! Quick one on the YMC jumper, like you said GREAT brand to look out for - It stands for You Must Create - comes under the category of English contemporary wear, similar to Margaret Howell, Universal Works, Folk, Albam, Oliver Spencer - all really great brands to look out for that command great resale value!
YMC is You Must Create, how have you never heard of it lol i still i don't know everything either as you say George always learning, Armor Lux is a good brand too solid
BHF prices can put you off going in but from my experience you should always check because they do miss stuff and overall probably get the most consistent good stock, plus, finding something in a BHF when you know they are paying someone to spot the good stuff makes it even sweeter
So everyone at the bootsales need a trolley but for around the charity shops what everyone needs is an empty buggy lol. Some proper belters in the charitys today. Out of curiosity tho do you manage to list everything you buy within a couple of days or do you not source until you have lsted what was previously bought,
Some nice pieces there, clothing is dire in charity shops near me so I’ve moved away from it-I honestly think they are more fashionable in Essex than Kent 😂
I recently found a fortune cookie stool in a british heart foundation shop, sold it on eBay for £99.99 or something close, worth looking out for! :) cost £10
@@RetroReselling It cost something like £165 new and was from like alibaba or something like that. The listing sold title was "Fortune Cookie Stool Modern Design Home Decor Solid Wood High End Furniture Prop" on my mums account :)
Whats been your best Charity Shop find recently?
Two Thom Browne pieces (Hoodie & Jumper) which I’m very skeptical of but couldn’t leave them there for £5 each 😂
Vintage Laura Ashley 1980s dress made in UK. Paid up at £20 but sold for £100 very quickly
25p jellycat that sold for £180

Burton snowboarding boots used in box great condition and listed for £120.
My girlfriend actually vilunteers in the Herts and Essex air ambulance charity shop. Was great seeing it as the first one in this video

Another good video
The guy at 6.36 🤣
Sneaky look and then decided to wander into shot a bit more- definitely a fan of the channel
🤣
Looked more like he wanted to look where retro was looking tbh
Should have bought the Lima train set intercity 125 for the £65. A couple going on Ebay for around double the price.

Very true! It's definitely not like this every time but the more you go, the more chance of success you'll have 💪🏻👍🏻
Picked up some ps1 games for £1 each on Monday. There is definitely stuff out there if you know what you are looking for. Great video.

Thanks for the info!
Would love to see you hit the charity shops in Southend!
Maybe one day!.....soon!
Are the blue harbour stuff quite good generally? I think I came across a few tops the other day but didn't think.much of picking them up.
A painting of a sunset original signed but the signature was hard to spot paid £20 could be worth £500 plus
Oh how I enjoy your charity shop videos 🎉🎉🎉
Glad you like them!
Thanks mate. Have a great weekend
Thanks, you too mate! 🤘🏻
had to watch again... enjoyed that mate.
🤘🏻🤘🏻
I live in Carlisle Cumbria England & we have 22 charity shops all good prices
up north most of our shops are better as well our expensive shops are the same as the souths cheap shops haha
I also live in carlisle and find the stock in our shops is poor. Plus slowly getting pricier
22 shops!! 😲

George, your so lucky to be in Braintree now. Lots of reselling opportunities. I'm in Dunfermline, you know what it's like here. 😂😂😂😂
Haha I know EXACTLY what it's like there 😉🤣
great video as always mate i agree always nip into charity shops
i turned some wii game pick ups yesterday into a PC in 1 day haha
Gotta be done!
Folk prices have really gone downhill. I struggle to shift it now unless it's unreasonably cheap.
The TK Maxx effect I think, once it goes big in there the resale prices suffer

Definitely!

Did you not pick up that Selected Homme jacket? Looked like it was selvedge, would have easily gone for £50+
I absolutely got it!! Easily my favourite item of the day! 💙
My man I will gladly buy that beehive top if you choose to sell it.
I think the Wife has had it off me! 🤣
How do I get hold of a Luxury Pickers bag? 😅
Haha, limited edition earlier in the year!
That brand Acai; pronounce A-SY-EE
Hey George what camera are you using?
I said that at beginning and then you said go pro 😂 which version though?
This is the GoPro hero 9 👍🏻 hoping to upgrade soon!
I'd be more concerned your chatting to a pushchair without a baby in it !! :)
I only like charity shops if passing by. But to go out to look in shops if not worth it here. Prices are too high
Yeah it's not as good as it once was but definitely worth a try every now and then!
