- We are Alex and Craig. We are from Germany and Alabama. A couple of years ago we moved from Germany to Alaska. We are a family of four living in Fairbanks, Alaska. We share our home with our three dogs Norway, Embraer and Logan. And last but not least with our beloved cat Emma. We invite you to join us in our Alaskan Journey of Life.

I have been to Alaska and it is absolutely amazing there. It's like you are on a different planet in terms of the most beautiful nature. If you want a nice and simply lifestyle than Alaska is the place to be where you can be one with nature away from crazy city lifestyle.

@@LMiraculous Yes, we do!! Anchorage’s winters are not as harsh as in Fairbanks. And it has a lot of stores, like in the lower 48, depending on what you are looking for. The scenery is beautiful! Anchorage is also close to the most scenic places in Alaska.

Looking Great, Nebraska here. Seen Fairbanks a couple of times in the early 90's. Greeley and Ft Rich. Was in Ketchican last spring. Fishing Law now worse than back then, but did catch a couple of Halibut. Alaska a strange place, either Total Love or Total hate, never any in between. I loved Fishing Hunting Camping. Try The Military Camp at Seward if you get a chance !

None of those big box stores were there when I lived there. We only had Fred Myer, Pay N Save, Safeway and a small JC Penny’s, where the Sadlers is now, and the PX and commissary. Fairbanks has changed a lot the past 25 years. Where was the circus being held at and how were you able to get CBC from Canada? Thanks
Pay N Save and JC Penny are not here anymore. We don’t know Fairbanks without the big stores but heard from locals how different it was. The circus was held at the Hering Auditorium ( Lathrop High School) organized by the Fairbanks Concert Association. As Craig was playing around with the TV, pressing several buttons, it came up by chance😊

There is definitely enough snow in December. The sun rises around 10:00 AM and sets shortly before three PM.
