    gLAD U GOT THE I9. I have the i7 x17 r2 very happy with the performance, specially working in Blender. With the thermals I start using the Curved to , its seems to work better than just the default. Next step will be to repaste the cpu and gpu, but for now (the LT is 2 month old) so I have time for doing that in the near future.

    Also, what thermal setting are you running from the Alienware Command Center?

      I normally run performance mode since I do utilize the GPU to a greater extent

    What was wrong with the first one for it to get sent back?

      My audio jack had issues and the technicians couldn't repair it

    Looking to grab the x15 1440p version today for office/development/research work for my company and this update was helpful. When using it as a laptop on your lap just doing normal day to day work (nothing cpu/gpu intensive), do you notice it getting too hot? That's probably one of my only concerns right now.

      Doesn't run too hot at all, especially with the quad fans. I have it on my lap all the time at home haha

    Why is it a 3 parter? What is part 3 going to be???

      Part 3 will demonstrate more of the softwares and performance when loading projects, it'll be the final wrap-up

    Why did they send you the i9?

      I sent the i7 back for repairs however Dell proposed that they just send me a new one instead which I have no complaints about
