Tom's Spiderman pisses me off. He makes decisions void of common sense, which I get it he's a kid, but that still doesn't stop the fact that he makes me angry. Literally, all the multiverse bullshit that happens in NWH is 100% this kid's fault and it could've all been avoided too.
@@controlman7490 I think that’s kinda the point. yes he’s a super human with this huge responsibility, but he’s also a 16 (?) year old kid who never asked for it, and often doesn’t want it. It’s hard enough to trust someone who’s an adult with a developed mind to make huge (and correct) decisions, but an 11th grader? yeah no lol

Andrew’s Spider-Man is definitely the best, Tobey’s Peter Parker is *chefs kiss* and Tom’s Spidey and Peter is a dorkable combination. It’s hard to choose; they are all great in different ways.

I grew up with the Tobey’s Spiderman but after reading the first 200 issues of The Amazing Spiderman comics i gotta say Andrew's take is the closest to how Peter acts in the main comics
Unpopular opinion but my favorite spider man is Andrew Garfield. I grew up with Tobey’s trilogy so I’ll always enjoy it but Andrews was excellent 😩 I’m still upset Andrew’s spider man didn’t get proper closure but he’s still my fave ☺️
I grew up with Tobey's trilogy, but Andrew Garfield was the best in the Spider-Man suit, hands down! He had the proper build and the mannerisms, and the jokes were on point. I honestly don't think we've seen the best Peter Parker in live action yet, though.

Andrew is definitely my favorite Spiderman, he just had a special place in my heart and hes such a good actor. I think he's a great Peter parker and an even better Spiderman
It ain't about who the best Spiderman is, it's about who the best dancer is. Tobey wasn't playin in that scene and that's why Spiderman 3 will remain the best movie in the Spiderman franchise ✋🙄

The reason they have diffeent ways of shooting webs is because the comics are so inconsistent about whether he can shoot them organically from his hands or if he needs a device. Really it depends on the comic run
Don’t the majority of comics support web cartridges though? I thought it was really Raimi who popularised the organic webs and that beyond an occasional man spider mutation here and there Spider-Man had never had organic webs beforehand?
@@lokir9959 Yeah I’m pretty sure the first ever Spider-Man comics had Peter make his Webs because they wanted to show his intellect and how he made his own equipment, but more and more writers took the idea of organic webs over the years cuz comics get weird like that.

I love every Spider-Man! I like Tobey’s because I feel like the story itself feels the most authentic to Spider-Man, and his dorkiness is kinda funny (it’s the original of course!) . I like Andrew’s because despite his movies you can actually tell he plays the role very well, especially as Spider-Man! For Tom’s, I am a high schooler at the moment, and I feel like he’s the most like an actual kid my age. So I really like his Spider-Man because I can relate to him since he actually feels like a teenage kid.
yeah andrew and tom's spiderman's feel a lot more like my high school (dropped out 3 years ago but would've finished last year). having flash slap tom's butt was so funny (ofc a bit invasive) but it's a funny detail cause all the boys in my year did that to each other xD but there was an unspoken agreement that they wouldn't do it to the girls. it was hilarious.
Eddie is the only Raimi villain who willingly and consciously reveled in his curse. With Norman, Otto, and Flint it was "I didn't choose this" & then you have Eddie's "I like being bad"... kinda fucked when you think about it.

Tobey Maguire is my favorite, and Tom Holland is a close 2nd. I felt like Tobey captured Peter Parker and his spiderman was classic. Tom Hollands Peter Parker is a bit more comical and his spiderman is good.

In my opinion, The Amazing Spider-Man series is underrated.
The Sam Raimi trilogy will always be the best for me. Simply because I grow up with them. Tom Hollands Spiderman is great too, but I already feel to old for those movies😅

I can’t choose who is the best. Each have their qualities that I love so much. They are a holy grail
I like each Spider-Man individually. But Tobey’s is the one for me. Something I’ve always found off about Tom’s Spidey is the use of just making things seem like they never happened. Peter in Civil War feels like a completely different character from the Peter in FFH. His whole character changes completely each film he’s in. And it feels so off.
Tobey has my vote, and Spider-Man 1 was the movie that pretty much popularized the line with great power comes great responsibility even tho it kind of originates in the bible different wording, and in the first comic uncle ben has like 2 scenes, but the words for the most part are in the comic at the very end,

I love all three. The character has been around since the 60s, so obviously, he's gone through different changes over the years depending on the writer. For me, I think all three actors managed to encapsulate the character in their own way perfectly. Either way, you spin it, they all manage to be dorky, endearing, and badass.
LOVED the original trilogy so much so I never gave Garfield a chance. I need to go back and re-watch with a different lens. I am ok with the Holland spiderman, but I don't like him being Iron Man's sidekick, I like Spiderman being a man not a clingy boy. Loved your review, can't wait for part II.
Spiderman wasn't a man though - he was always just a kid. Tom Holland's Spiderman is the most true to the original character in the comics and truest to Stan Lee's vision for the character.

The original Spider-Man Tobey will always have a special place in my heart bc I grew up with those movies. Andrew's version was not my favorite I have to admit, his movies didn't really make me want to rewatch them either but he does a great job regardless. Tom's Spider-Man is my favorite bc if we're talking about an origin story Tom fits the bill. He's dorky, awkward and charming at the same time and actually looks like a teenager. I felt like he really embodied this role well and instead of copying other Spider-Man before him, made it his own.

Tobey's Spiderman is my first ever superhero, so I absolutely have special space for him in my heart. Other than that, Andrew's spiderman is my favourite. He's just the quintessential spiderman I know, since I grew up watching the spiderman cartoons. There was no Mary Jane there, but Andrew's chemistry with Gwen (Emma) was SO FUCKING GOOD. On top of that, there was this interview where Andrew said that his spiderman would've been team Captain because he would've been turned off by the billionaire status of Iron Man and I think that's the proof that he truly understands spiderman.
You NEED to watch Spider Man: Into The Spiderverse too! It‘s easily the best out of all of them

I said this on a video recapping all the Spider-Man movies, but I think Sandman was the most well-intentioned person who became a villain in the Spider-Man movies. He didn't do any crazy experiments, he stumbled into one, and he just wanted money so he could pay for his daughter's surgery. Really, he was a good father who was willing to do whatever it took to get money to help his sick daughter
Tobey was always my favorite but Tom is coming in a close second. And Andrew is like the cool guy version of Peter parker. I love all versions for different reasons.

In a deleted scene in the Amazing Spiderman, it shows how Uncle Ben was going to die. He saw the thug go into an alleyway thinking it was peter, it cuts to peter somewhere else until he finds a crowd looking into an alleyway. Peter sees its uncle ben and thwn cries. Idk why they changed this lol

Stan Lee himself said that Tom Holland was the best pick for spider man before he passed. An awkward young teen boy who grows to be a great hero. He really delivered the high-school vibe. Cuz that's what Peter is supposed to be. A child. A teen.naive in the beginning. That one scene when he was stuck under the building after iron man took his suit away really got me cuz u see how young he is. Crying for help. Theres something about Tobey, his expressions, the awkward, shy vibe he has to him, the delivery of his lines are just so Peter Parker to me. Whenever I think of Peter Parker, I think of Tobey. His Spider-Man was perfect too imo. Many think Garfield did a better Spider-Man with his quips and jokes. But I think if Tobey quipped more it would of ruined the great fight scenes and the emotional bond between Peter and his villians. He does quip but at the right time. And his quips are top tier. Spider-Man 3 proved that for me.
I love them all so much, they each give something new to peter/spider-man and their portrayals are all unique in their own way. Imo, though, I say Andrew is the best spidey, Tobey is the best peter, and Tom just gives a perfect mixture of the two, but I also feel like he gives the most accurate portrayal of Peter. Either way, I adore them all
