  • This tune is called "The Wee Man From Skye" ( AKA The Man from Skye) and was composed by Pipe Major Donald MacLeod. It's one of my favourite pipe tunes. It has a swing in it that makes ye smile. You can find the music for this online at thesession.org and other places if you google it.
Remember to like, comment and subscribe if you want to encourage the videos coming.
The accordion is a Vignoni Ravel 2BX and this was recorded on an older iPad 2. No microphones or cameras.
    TIP*
I have noticed if you put a cushion or a towel behind the iPad it takes away the tinny sound you often get when recoding an accordion in a room with a wooden floor and plaster walls.

I wish I could still play my accordion, I can't pull the bellows any more. That performance was lovely ... I also like the Jacqueline waltz that one is a favourite you play . Thank you for sharing your talent.

Beautiful performace. Very martial. I recommend a version with another point of view of this march from the musician Leo Mccann in his album If Anyone Can!.
