- The Dark Island Accordion tune.
Here is the Scottish tune the 'Dark Island' played on an acoustic Vignoni piano accordion with musictech's musicmaker midi fitted. You can hear here the natural sound of the Vignoni accordion with some digital sounds from the midi.
The accordion is a custom version of the Vignoni/Fisart Philarmonic 2SV 37-96-5-5-15M+7 2 reeds in cassotto.

I really liked the strong master accordion sound you used. A lot of players( me included )start this off with a very soft flute sound, but I will now change this to a stronger one. I also like the way you put a gentle wee lift into your tunes, it gives a Braw lilt. Thank you, from Ken in Scotland.

They played this tune, performed on accordion on our local radio station back in the 1960's and 70's. It was one of me most loved tunes as a child.
Never heard of this guy before. But he is Brill. Lovely manner before he even pkays a note. Then he plays.... dreamlike and mesmerising.... Wonderful. What a find! So authentic

Well i cannot remember asking you to do this one Charlie but i am glad you did it and if it is possible could you do one of the 5 row Continental Chromatic accordions just to see what the sound like.
Ii canna play a 5 row David. I've nae got ane here either. The sound would be much the same if I played one. Just with more mistakes! 😋
Hi Charlie was wandering if you would ever release a CD of yourself playing the accordion as I have never saw a CD of you available or better still possibly put a couple on CD just for me please as I like listening to your music.

Well have you ever tried to play and if you where at a loss you get one in and I could help you play it as I do not know wee bit about playing a 5 Row.
Great but prefer the bass you ended with to be played all through.
