Good video. Dripping bar oil from the cap is the only real problem.

Burning of the bar is probably a common side effect of any chainsaw. I would figure the longer the bar the less of burn per cut though. Just a thought. My Stihl 023 12" and 14" bars do have to be checked for berms when im sharpening.

Im close to getting out to the distant woods. Things have changed recently so Im gonna have to make a move soon. Wish me luck.
I have 4 of the 92- cc saws now 2- FARMMAC- 2- NEOTEC’s so far so good and 1- 8105 all good so far a couple minor things like you l did notice they have a different brake handle on one versus the other, but dependable starters hot or cold and I’ve brushed a light coating of oil on the foam air filter, and check under the skid plate and make sure the oil srcrew is all the way on and l am using cooking oil for bar oil half the price so far so good 10” to 15” of snow here today be well steve
Thank you for the advice Steve! I will definitely be pulling the skid plates and checking for oil. That's a great idea to use vegetable oil, friends of mine use old motor oil, we all know what that does to the pump in the saw and the environment, not to mention it smells bad. I will be grabbing some veggie oil! Cheers !!

Not sure about the veggie oil. I will not even try used motor oil. There's some things about being used that takes away from what the bar and chain need. Just read somewhere that veggie oil does bad to our bodies so any veggie oil I got in the kitchen will soon go somewhere else. Olive oil is a different story. So if the veggie oil isn't going to help my chainsaws or me it will go in the ground. The olive oil will prob end up being used somewhere if not in the kitchen. I might even try it in my chainsaws bar n chain oil.

I just bought this chainsaw. Haven't received it yet but I'm anxiously waiting for it's arrival. It will be used for milling mostly but will be used for felling if I'm paid enough.lol I'm hearing that theres problems with the caps. Any suggestions for a solution to this future problem.
