- Sky Brown (スカイ・ブラウン) is a British-Japanese skateboarder who competes for Great Britain. She is the youngest professional skateboarder in the world, and has also won the American TV programme Dancing with the Stars: Juniors. She represented Great Britain at the 2020 Summer Olympics, where she won a bronze medal in the park event, making her the country's youngest ever medallist.

I am a near official adult/18 year old male and it’s sad that boys the same age as me say that girls can’t do this.
I think it’s completely the opposite and that in fact that there are tons of girls that are way better than boys like us.
Those boys that say girls can’t skate; are greatly mistaken as so many are amazing at it and Sky is one to prove that girls are completely capable of skating and can skate better than a lot of us boys.
I love biking/pro scootering and all that.
I can tell you right now; I am no where as good as sky brown and I admire and support Sky brown all the way / full send.
She is absolutely amazing at what she does at such a young age and I wish her good luck.

I used to think Nora was the only one with the Steez, but Damn Sky is just a natural. It does probably help that she grew up with it under her, but even with the recent injury she seems to have the right attitude. If you love doing something you can deal with some pain that might come with it because it goes with the territory.

How is she allowed to go to the Olympics that young, when same age figure skaters with triple Axel and quad jumps have to wait for the next Olympics? And 4 years in figure skating is a LOT of wasted time.
There is no age restricion for the Olympics, age limits are set by the sport's governing body, Skateboarding has set no age limit you just need to qualify for a place.
She has parent's consent dude.
Even Momiji or the Japanese pro skateboarder is 12 yo so the age doesn’t matter

Every sport has different age limits, at x games there has been 13 and 14 year olds and a 15 year old who was a 2 time winner, age doesn’t matter

Likely the Olympics will keep modifying to keep themselves relevant. Skateboarding was long overdue and they also saw how much revenue the X-Games pulls in.

She's not a US citizen. She has dual citizenship for Japan and Great Britain because her mom is Japanese, and her father is British. She lives in Japan but competes for Great Britain because she likes "the more relaxed approach" of the British Skateboarding Association better even though she has never lived there. She originally was going to compete for Japan.
