At 13 years and 11 days old, Sky Brown had become the youngest athlete selected to represent Team GB at the Summer Olympics, breaking a record that stood for 93 years dating back to Margery Hinton (13 years and 43 days old) who swam at the 1928 Games in Amsterdam. Her road to Tokyo has not been without its challenges for the teen sensation. Last year she suffered life-threatening injuries that could have derailed her skateboard career and changed her life forever. Yet by some ‘miracle’, Brown made a full recovery and was able to compete at the Olympics in the country where she was born. Enjoy watching her best of at #Tokyo2020.

An Olympian and an Olympic medallist at 13, one of the shining stars of the Tokyo Olympics and more than likely there would be more Olympics in her future and more importantly she has inspired kids all over the world. This kid is amazing. A Superstar.

I really wished she could’ve gotten a gold, but I’m proud of her nonetheless, she’s my biggest inspiration, and I hope she gets even further in the future.

That huge grin when she finally nailed it and finished her run. Yeah, not gold but bronze is quite an accomplishment at any age, and it's clear she just loves what she does.

I have just started skateboarding for about 1 month, and I am seeing this girl who is older than me by one year pull off these tricks and win a medal for her country, it is so inspiring
As a sailor, she's an inspiration cross-sport as well 🙌 Complete legend gives all the other 13 y-o Olympic dreamers a 'poster girl'.
She is inspiration to many young children especially girls ...

She skates like a Pro already, wow. When she gets a little bit bigger to have some weight behind all those tricks it's really going to be crazy. She is always smiling and happy which is the point of skateboarding too, not just doing tricks.

Do any of you know what parameters her board has?
1) diameter of the wheels ?
2). Wheels width (width of the wheels ) ?
3) the width of the board ?
4) .the height of the truck ?
5).Truck model and its parameters ?
6).What is the hardness of the rubber bands in the truck and how are they selected? Are the different hardnesses mixed or the same?
I think I chose the parameters of the board wrong.
I often catch a wheel bit ( my wheel are blocked ) when I drive slowly, at low speeds when I turn.
My height is 181 cm and my weight is 91 kg
My helmet has a quote on the back and it is by Sky Brown
