That head knife feels really solid, and well made.
I just received mine a few days ago, but like you said, it's dull right out of the box, and it's really a bargain, compared with most others

I think it is a great value tool. However like most knives it requires a lot of time and effort to get it to have the right bevel and sharpened properly.

May I ask if the french edger works well on chrome tanned leathers as well?

Yes. All skiving knives and edgers work with chrome but it may be a bit difficult if it is stretchy leather.

I had ordered tools worth 127USD from the official WUTA website in the first week of January2023. Payment made by card and an order number received. Sent them a mail to find out about the status of my order and they said due to Chinese new year etc... Sent them another mail on Feb 3rd and haven't received a response... That's really frustrating 🤦... I've decided to put this comment on all the videos pertaining to WUTA just to get their attention... Hopefully they do... The order was made from Dubai...

That's unfortunate, I haven't had to deal with their customer service before. I know that China's logistics does do a big shutdown over their holiday for a few weeks so that explains some of the delay. I hope you get you order soon.

wuta over pricing the products + the quality is not that good compared to others in the same price rang , the same products available in aliexpress & Alibaba with 20% of wuta prices

I have tried a few different brands on Alixepress and find the Wuta branded tools to be noticeably better and worth the additional cost. Having said that, there are some tools in the Wuta store that are the same generic products as other sellers have and are priced more expensive.
