I can't see my videos on the video folder. They go to an iphoneData folder on my files. There I can click on them and they play without issues but that's it. I can't edit them because they don't show anywhere else. Any solution?
It didn't work that well in some aspects. The contacts were transferred but not the messages. None of the apps were transferred so I had to manually install them again. Not all the photos were transferred and those that did were in different folders (some of them). When I want to upload a photo (originally from the iphone) using my S21 ultra phone, I had to scroll all over my gallery as it is not where it used to be. None of my Messaging apps were transferred at all.
Because it doesn't really matter. Your SIM card doesn't hold any of the data. Personally I'd always advise putting your SIM card in the new phone once you're happy it's all set up and ready to go.
If you have iCloud set up to back up photos you sometimes find it’s set to “offload” some of the photos from your phone to iCloud to save space on your iPhone’s storage. That might be what’s happening here. You’ll probably need to disable that setting and make sure you’ve downloaded all your photos. Your other alternative is just using Google Photos to sync your photos from your iPhone and then signing into Google Photos on your Samsung with the same account.

How does this smart transfer address that?
Just ONE thing missing and that is... Smart Switch will refuse to copy any data from iPhone if you have set backup to be encrypted. Can anyone tell me why this is so, as I thought it was simply transferring data, what does a backup have to do with anything. I'm only asking this as I have NO IDEA what my iOS encryption password is and it's almost impossible to reset.

there are fast charging cables that apple sells that have the usb-c to iphone port. im sure you can find other places that sell them, I just know apple has them.

It transfers over the iCloud photos meaning the best versions of the photos. If you have it set up that way.

You need to use the iphone cable and connect on the USB-A, the USB-A to USB-C adapter that Samsung includes with the phone.
So what can be done to transfer over whatsapp chats
