It is so hard to find people that know how powerful the grease pencil is and actually willing to show off what can be done with it. Thank you for being one of those people that show how easy it is and how you can make something so clean without having to have years of drawing experience behind yourself as a creator.
im a some what beginer to all of animation and 3d , i want to cretae my own animations and i have to say all of your tips and trics and courses are amazing , im currently going through the course about rigging and next will be your course on animations and i often have to re-watch them because there is so much good information and details into it that you have to listen very well in order to capture them , the courses are amazing
how is ur progress so far? my animation skills are not bad but also not good. So i mostly animate in 3d max but im tired the system is outdated and they dont seem to care. And since i cant afford autodesk license im gonna try put more time into blender once i finish my exams.
Thanks Pierrick for another great tutorial. I've moved to Krita for my hand drawn 2d animations in general, but this style of grease pencil looks really great for adding effects to 3D scenes.
Thank you so much! As I struggle to do my first grease pencil animation, procrastinated for weeks, still lost in tutorial hell, your tutorial saved me and finally pushed me to start animating in blender. You're the best!
love your work! im just getting into blender and hoping to get a better foundational knowledge of modelling and rigging then your animation courses are the next step!
Thanks for making it so easy to understand! The video pace is supper good and the final result of the FX looks really nice for a tutorial presentatio! Thans a lot!
Thank you so much! Your courses, videos, and advice have helped push me to learn and care more about my animation then ever before. Your content is my favorite. It’s always professional, accurate, and easy to understand. Thank you so much for all you do for us artists both 2d and 3d. Couldn’t have asked for a better teacher to learn from. Amazing job once again, and keep up the good work. We all look forward to you’re upcoming content!
I am a professional Character Artist, but I have started a personal project requiring me to to get serious about my Animation skills, and the effects are going to be a big part of it, being 3D Characters with 2D Enviros and Magic. This is Incredibly helpfull!! Thank you! Liked and Subed!
Sir, can you please make a roadmap or learning track video for the beginner 3D artists out here like me? I mean, there are plenty of youtube videos that teach how modelling and simulations are done. But we don't know crap about actually making our own animation. It's not as simple as modelling your character, then rigging and animating it, and you for sure know that. How to use the render layers, how are we supposed to go about making complex animations, how to implement these effects that you made this video on. Are we supposed to add them while compositing or what? Nobody talks about stuff life that.
HI, HOPE TO GET A REPLY FROM YOU. I AM ACTUALLY ONE OF YOUR ALIVE AND ART OF EFFECTIVE RIGGING STUDENT. PLEASE HOW CAN I LINK AND APPEND A CHARACTER IN BLENDER 3.4? I CANT FIND Library Override. AND THE TRIDENT RIG GETS BROKEN ANYTIME I TRY OPEN AND SAVE IT IN BLENDER 3.4. PLEASE HELP ME. IF YOU CAN MAKE A VIDEO ON LINKING AND APPENDING IN 3.4 I WILL APPRECIATE IT. I NEVER GET ANY RELPY ON YOUR DISORD GROUP THAT IS WHY I AM APPROACHING YOU HERE. THANK YOU.

Yes, and you can draw them directly on the context of your 3D scene. That’s the main benefit

You're my Master
Thank you
IT'd be cool to have an equivalent video for doing this in-engine in runtime (using post-process + shaders + VFX/particule system)
Thank you veery much!!😇
I hope they add that grease pencil to Cinema 4d or Maya soon
Mama tu gère ! 😂. Continue stp

nice
I prefer this over using emitters. Is it possible to transfer these sorts of effects to game engines?
why add a new layer for holes? Cant you just erase bits from the shape?
Pierrick, I am planning to take the alive animation course, will that include an explanation on the different parts of a rig?
It starts from the very beginner level. So I show you all the fundamentals including how to use the different rigs provided
@@PierrickPicaut_P2DESIGN ok thank you, I'll make sure to purchase the course after my exams are over
Pierrick Sir Can i Get This Blender File ?
Awesome stuff!
what screen tablet do you have for this?
I use a Wacom cintiq pro 24
