  • Due to the rarity of the original DB961 796 Selectamatic hydraulic control valve setting tool we copied an original tool I had to make drawings and an STL file available to those who would like to make one. This video is on testing the tool we 3D printed for accuracy.
email :bundybearsshed@gmail.com for a link to where they will be available.
Hello, I'm Lance (aka Bundy Bear), and doing these videos is my hobby. I do own Queensland Tractor Spares in Australia where I sell parts and offer technical advice to customers.
Parts seen in our videos can be purchased from www.queenslandt...
We have a lot more than we can offer on our web site available to us and in our store. If you don't see what you would like please email info@queenslandtractorspares.com.au or call 1300 850 097 and we will help where we can.
I do try and help with technical advice at bundybearsshed@gmail.com if you have a question or are having trouble with your project.

If the world had more people like you three, we wouldn’t be in the predicament we’re in! I have always loved your videos, I hope they continue to come for a long time. Be well Lance.

What a great demonstration Lance. You blokes are just so talented in particular you Lance. If I weld two bits of metal together I think I’m good. I did learn welding but you go way way beyond and above that. On top of that you allow other people to benefit from your knowledge and creativity. Congratulations.

G Day Lance, great demo the operation of the setting gauge and totally agree with you, that if like me you only need this setting gauge once or twice then the 3d printed one will do, of course only time will tell, mind if the gorilla who had my tractor before me gets one, it ain't gonna last long.
    many thanks Barry

Yes a cheap alternative to the original tools will only be needed now and then and with a 3d printer it will be easy to replace when and if it is needed.

If that valve is out of adjustment, what does it do to the operation of the tractor. I don’t have one of those tractors, I’m just curious. A buddy of mine has two 990’s now that I think of it.
Great video. Thanks for helping people out.

The control valve will not travel the full distance when needed and could lift very slowly or not at all. The top hole sets a clearance so the valve is not being activated when it is not needed.
