- I'm reacting to Link Click Season 2 Episode 12. Wow, that's an amazing conclusion for this episode it's crazy, we get to see so many plotlines in such a short time. We see Cheng Xiao Shi and Lu Guang having a crazy fight scene. The question is, who is the new character? What does he have to do with everything? And when is season 3?

Fortunately, Season 3 has been confirmed.
From what I understood from the last episode, Xixi died but her ability passed to Qing Ling. It seems if the person dies, his/her abilities can be transferred. So Cheng Xiaoshi is dead in Lu Guang's time line (Or future) and Lu got Cheng Xiaoshi's ability to dive into the photos and by this, he tries to save Cheng Xiaoshi constantly. If you read the translation of the song Flash, it seems Lu Guang tried so many times. not just once.

We still don't know if Lu Guang really did it more than once or just one time because it's still only implied in the songs not on the show itself.
@@mohammadibrahim9882 I believe the 12 hours limitation is something Lu Guang has for seeing the future (not cheng Xiaushi's ability) or He lied about the limitation so he can control cheng more easily.
This episode was just hit after hit after hit, the ending was the icing on the cake too, Link Click is truly one of a kind

If he didn't have CXS's power he might have been able to moved on. But with CXS's power, he's willing live through those days again and again for that slightest chance to change CXS's fate.

I’m late to writing a comment in reaction to this reaction (haha), but I thought I’d also try to answer some questions!
The first thing is that yeah, the separation of parents can be something really hard for children to accept. Because she reacted so negatively to her mom discussing divorce with her teacher, her mom said she wouldn’t divorce their dad and that this would be their little secret.
While she didn’t mean to, their mother became the cause of Li Tianxi’s muteness (she mentions in this episode when meeting the doctor that Li Tianxi has been mute for six months and they don’t know what caused it). And muteness can be a result of trauma, so it’s really unfortunate how all of that came out. 😔
Li Tianchen reacting so negatively to the phone call about mental health counselling suggests that the mother was maybe seeking help for him. Or even if it wasn’t for him, it still touched a sore spot of his, because Li Tianchen is definitely supposed to be somewhat mentally unstable.
Li Tianxi dropping the photo with “不能没了好哥哥” written on it led Li Tianchen to seek Lu Guang and Cheng Xiaoshi’s help, which is also sad since maybe if they didn’t just go back and observe the twins’ past, he would have been drawn out of Qian Jin’s circle of influence. But as Li Tianchen tells Cheng Xiaoshi, he _did_ seek their help and they “ignored [them] like all the others,” which he knows is true because _his past-and thus his present-did not change at all._ He specifically yells that they’re still stuck in this hell, so he knows Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang didn’t try to fix that day for them. And that’s even more distressing. 😔
The ending certainly has me curious how much his sister’s death will affect him, since he abandoned his phone with her picture in it…
But speaking of that, the new character (endearingly called “hat man” by the fandom haha) does seem to be a villain! He’s Liu Min’s brother, named Liu Xiao, who apparently the parents care about more than Liu Min since they saw Liu Min as useless apparently… But he’s also the young boy Li Tianchen befriended so long ago and who convinced him to try and be a “hunter.”
There was actually a slight fake-out where in episode 9, some of us wondered if he was Liu Min all along and he just dyed his hair, but it definitely didn’t feel right because while Li Tianchen felt like Liu Min was familiar, Liu Min had no reaction to Li Tianchen at all and just directly asked him to kill someone for him.
(Earliest theories posited that hat man was actually a parallel timeline’s Cheng Xiaoshi, but that’s seemingly been debunked. 😂)
I’m also not super clear on what his goal is, but based off what he tells Li Tianchen, he wants to _get rid_ of all parallel timelines, because he believes that you can fight destiny, but at a certain point it’ll become fixed. So there are potential branching timelines etc and it sounds like he wants to make everything into one single timeline?
If that’s the case, Lu Guang would definitely need to watch out considering uhhh…everything he’s done LDNFKSJS.
Which brings me to the next question: yes, Lu Guang went back in time to save Cheng Xiaoshi!!
He’s shown wearing his primarily season 1 clothes and he’s covered in blood, and back when this season started, we did see a flash of the image of Cheng Xiaoshi dying in his arms after Lu Guang was stabbed. He even specifically thought that he’d be willing to face death now if it would change things, implying he was willing to die in Cheng Xiaoshi’s place.
Only issue is…he didn’t die, hence his super extreme reaction to Qian Jin shooting at Cheng Xiaoshi. We’ve seen Lu Guang be calm and analytical this entire time, but Cheng Xiaoshi being grazed by a bullet made him go absolutely feral.
And yeah, Qian Jin did try to shoot Lu Guang too, but he couldn’t because he ran out of ammo it seems. So they _were_ all fighting injured, but Lu Guang’s injury was his old knife wound.
And as for why Li Tianchen ran, it’s because Li Tianxi told him to. The police chief was coming up and Li Tianxi told her brother to run probably because she knew he’d be arrested by the police chief, and while obviously he’s done terrible things, she still loves and wants to protect him.
And so we get to why Qiao Ling got handed Li Tianxi’s memories: she wasn’t being possessed, but rather, Li Tianxi’s powers _were handed over to her._
Li Tianchen implied from the beginning of season 2 that these special abilities can be “taken” from its owner, when he was telling Cheng Xiaoshi that he couldn’t lie to Li Tianxi (who had access to Qiao Ling’s memories). So from what happened between Li Tianxi and Qiao Ling, that means Qiao Ling will probably be able to monitor people in the future-turning the season 2 ED into foreshadowing this entire time.
And another confirmation we have that powers can be transferred to someone upon death is the fact that at the end of this episode, _Lu Guang used Cheng Xiaoshi’s ability._ He travelled back into a photo for the express purpose of saving Cheng Xiaoshi, and we know Cheng Xiaoshi died in his arms, so Lu Guang now being able to enter photos must have come from Cheng Xiaoshi passing it onto him.
That definitely sets up for a really interesting third season since Lu Guang’s actions are bound to fuck with the timelines and create parallel ones, which I guess Liu Xiao wants to get rid of.
So for a huge chunk of this show, we’ve been following a Lu Guang from the future who’s doing his best to protect Cheng Xiaoshi. Some fans have even built timelines off the fact we see Lu Guang’s watch right before he enters the photo to save Cheng Xiaoshi, and the date is actually the password to his phone. 👀
So yeah! Lots and lots to look forward to in season 3!!

I'm just so sad about XiXi. She is just too innocent too kind to suffer all these. Now we know XiXi lost her voice due to psychological issues because XiXi Mom asked her not to tell a "Secret". It created a mental blockage in her mind stopping her from speaking. What a sad story 😢😢😢

It's because the Brother discovered of XiXi picture and the message written on it "Can't live without Good Brothers". It was the time the Brother decided to seek help from Lu and gave him the picture. However, he was disappointed of the outcome.

I loved your reaction to Li Tianchen and Li Tianxi's flashback scenes-it's done so poetically, and I love the imagery of Xixi finally returning home as she dies (?) and Tianchen still alive but running deeper into the forest. I kinda wonder if it was only memories that Xixi transferred to Qiao Ling, but her power as well.....maybe you receive one's power if you're touching them while they die????

It seems to me like CXS died in Lu Guang's arms in Lu Guang's OG timeline, which is maybe how Lu Guang gained CXS's powers, because he seems to have used a more powerful variation of CXS's powers (no 12-hour limit) to return to the past. Since he says he returned to the beginning, I actually think Lu Guang has been diving into the past trying to save Cheng Xiaoshi, FOR ALL OF S1 and 2! There've been remarks about Lu Guang acting "older" and more "mature" despite being younger than CXS, since Season 1 Episode 1, but that's because he's actually already lived all this before. And if you remember in E9 or 10 of last season, Lu Guang and CXS's first meeting was pretty strange, with Lu Guang just "appearing in their lives out of nowhere". Of course this is all just my speculation..........
Super curious about Liu Min's little brother/Tianchen's mystery friend as well. Maybe he's a time traveler as well? He seemed oddly knowledgeable even when he was just a child. Gahhhhh I hope Season 3 comes soon, IDK how I can possibly wait for another 2 years asdfghjkl.......

What if there is a more over arcing story line connecting all the stories. This song talks about the 7 sins. Which are Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, and Pride.
1. Lust could probably fall into the first episode.
2. Gluttony with the Ramen.
3. Sloth with the Guy who didn't tell his love what he wanted.
4. Pride with the Martials Arts Teacher
5. Greed with the Restaurant owners.
6. Then we have Envy for the Killer.
Then there is Wrath which is season 2.
The director makes fun of our emotions. At the same time they keep us attached to this donghua so bad. DANG it

Okay Some information I found. At the end of episode 13, the year is hidden on the clock for some reason. You can watch any other series - and the year will be visible, the events take place in 2021. But in the last episode it is hidden for some reason. The events of the first season begin in April and end in October 2021. It can be assumed that Cheng Xiaoshi died somewhere in between, but! I think he died in 2020. And do you know what happened in September? Emma's death on the bridge. In the third episode of the first season, this is stated. And she died at night, at about 11 pm. A policeman is talking about it and we see the time on her phone. Thus, it can be assumed that it was not Emma who died on the bridge in the previous timeline. And this is the reason why Lu Guang did not allow Cheng Xiaoshi to get into Emma's case - he tried to keep him from the same death again
Moreover, at the beginning of the second season, while dying, Lu Guang thinks about the death of Cheng Xiaoshi. And it seems that at this moment he is sacrificing himself. He thinks that everything has changed and wants to accept death so that Cheng Xiaoshi does not die. Also, at the end of the first season, when Cheng Xiaoshi saves Emma, Lu Guang exclaims in surprise that death cannot be changed. Maybe at that moment he wasn't talking about Emma's death? idk, I might be overthinking, I think the mental health call was an appointment the mom made for the little sister, the appointment was just under the moms name. As in the little sister became mute due to mental reasons (the divorce conversation she overheard 8:14) since she was able to speak before. I think the mom got the hint something mentally was blocking her from speaking, so she tried to seek out a psychologist for that. Now, if that was the case, then it hurts even more because the brother was the one who denied that call and basically prevented the little sister from getting the help she needed.
