I noticed yesterday that it didn't always engage straight away when I turned it on, but no big deal. The paddocks I'm doing at the moment are making the Deus very chatty, so it's lovely to get a bit of piece when I'm by the hole LOL. ATB MMMD

Hi David. I advise you call Nigel at Regton and discuss this, I am pretty sure that the lite can fully pair with the probe so I reckon you should still get the find me function. ATB MMMD
I think the find me part will work with the Ws4 headphone control in the new XP 5.0 software coming in September and should have more Ws4 features too.
I’ve had one since they was released and never used a cover I only use the protective end caps. A rinse under the tap after each use and it comes up like new. There a tough bit of kit max.
Looks like a good pointer , I think i might wait untill they come out with the M I 4 cause i use a different detector, only thing i would like to know is when the battery wears out can it be replaced by yourself or do you have to send the pin pointer back to the company to have a new battery put in. Is it a easy type of battery to find at some of the battery stores if i wanted to put a battery in the pointer myself.
Hi Frank, that's a great question. I doubt the battery can be changed by yourself due to the waterproofing, however, they have a big lifespan. Certainly something to consider though if you prefer not to have to send it back when the time comes. ATB MMMD
They can be tough. Adjustable spanner but don't clench too hard, you don't want to damage he internal plastic screw end. Just a suggestion. I never crank it fully closed unless conditions are wet. ATB MMMD
Great video Max this will be our next Pin pointer without a doubt, It will have to be the full version though so it intergrate's with the Deus system, Not keen on the xp lanyard looks a bit cheap will stick to my own. Thanks for the upload all the best
Hi Fellas. It's a very good product, the lanyard is surprisingly strong and will be fine for general stuff. If your trailing a few miles off the beaten track then a stronger one would not be a bad idea. ATB MMMD

I just purchased one if these and there is no audio at all. When I turn it in, I hold the button down for about 8 seconds. It vibrates when I turn it on but no audio or Melody. What would be the issue?
Hi Jeremy. It's a complicated little thing, I find that I really have to read the manual very carefully to make the right adjustments. That's all I can advise really mate. Hope you get it sorted. ATB MMMD
Hi Nick, yes totally waterproof mate, the cover just keeps the mud off. You don't need it but I like to keep the pointer from getting scratched and worn at the tip. Once you get used to programme 3, try Garys Hot programme and see how you get on with full tones mate, it's a good step along the learning curve in my opinion. ATB MMMD
Great video max nice m16 pointer but the price puts me off the lost probe feature is a bit gimmicky all you do is retrace your holes simple as for the sound you used it sounded like sweep has got sooty’s plums hahaha Thanks for sharing mate
Fair points Steve it's not going to be for everyone. I think the lost probe feature is more likely to be a help if your back at the car and the daylights going, and you suddenly realise it could be anywhere on the 150 yard walk back from the dig. A good review there! I used one of these for about 3 weeks but just didn't get on with it. Went back to the minelab pro find 35. Each to their own tbh. If I was a deus user I think you can't beat it.
Its very good for blind . If i go that much close to the target i dont need them 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 u have to find items which help u to find target at least 50cm deep
Mr Will mine does that if the sensitivity is too high, about 30 is usually about right. I had it on 40 and it was sounding off when held in the air, so it's picking up EMI. Try dropping the sensitivity via the remote. ATB MMMD
@@MudMaxMetalDetecting i noticed its worse in 40 but doesnt seem to matter much. Also this happens everywhere.... even in spots that are a mile from power lines. Are there any other factors? If this is not normal mine must be defective.

Can the Mi6 be used with any detector?
It will only pair with a Deus headphones, so if you use another machine you're better off with the MI4. ATB MMMD
Does it discriminate against iron. ie. Give off a different tone when iron is in same hole as the relic you've detected????
