    Hey, Nick. I loved getting a peak into how you drill your equipment. Question, I'm working on getting a set-up going for at-home drilling. Any chance you'd consider doing a video on some ins and outs for beginners on drilling your own equipment? Maybe there wouldn't be enough of an audience there to make it worth your while, so no worries if it's not.

    • @brunsnick
      @brunsnick  28 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Nice idea, but I don’t think I want to encourage novices to try and drill their own stuff at home. Takes training to do it right.

    Wow, i have drilled many balls, i have never done epoxy like that in the thumb hole for a switch thumb, i can see you have drilled 100's. That was fast and very clean, with no stuff on that ball cover, sometimes that hard to do.

    • @brunsnick

      @@brunsnick oh ok ya I saw ur video with Sarah on that sarge set up. I have the mesmerize and extreme envy and harsh reality solid and I put a 1000 surface on them because where I bowl they are heavily oiled especially at the start of the house . With that being said do think getting this new hammer is needed? I feel like I’ve bought to many heavy oiled balls and always get curious.

      @@thetravelingirishman4372 I think you’re set up top between Mesmerize and Extreme. Should look at some next step down gear that’s shiny (can always dull it later if needed)

    • @thetravelingirishman4372
      @thetravelingirishman4372 29 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@brunsnick ya I’ve got those too. I have the hammer effect,Hammer black widow toxin and those balls don’t work at this house I bowl at. They have so much oil that’s why I have to dull down those heavy oiled balls I mentioned earlier. I’m a low rev rate player so when there’s that much oil I even have to change balls and sometimes throw all three one for each game then get home clean and resurface again for the next night. I love the mesmerize and harsh reality they are drilled differently one to go down the lane further and the mesmerize to hook earlier that ball is usually my starter for the night then the harsh reality or sometimes the extreme envy.

    Hey Nick, what is the "vent hole" ?? .. I have never seen that before. Is that legal? .. if so, why don't my bowling balls have vent holes? .. and do I need one?

    • @brunsnick

    Hi Nick. I live in the Muskegon area and recently got back into bowling on a league. When I did I got 4 new widow balls, the only problem is the pro shop where I got them from did not measure my hand for the layout. They went off of the layout from my old ball that I bought when I was 20, and I am 48 now. I know this is probably an issue and was wondering if you could possibly help with it?

      I have thrown them. I just don't feel like I am coming out of the ball correctly, when I do come out of them correctly ball would react how I expect. For league 2 years ago I averaged 185 for the season, just feel it could be better if the ball came off of my hand more consistently.
