I am from Argentina, your video and your explanation have been very clear. And your words of encouragement to do it have been a great help to start. Thank you very much!!
Hey great video and honestly probably the best hands on explanation I have seen without all the BS others add in about their dogs etc.... How do I find the video on the disassembling? I am at the point of removing the first gear after removing the first C clip and it is pressed on fairly tight. I am assuming the bearing extraction tool goes under the first gear and then you press the shaft. Just seems like I was using a ton of pressure, so I backed off, came inside and found this video.
@@FocusedHands Ok cool, so you could have put those gears back between the two different geared shafts. I've got a Focus rally car that we're going from a Frankenstein Duratec/Zetec MTX75 that finally gave out to a 2010 duratec MTX75. Just trying to make sure I can still use the Mfactory close ratio gears that came with the car. Mfactory lists the gears work on 1992-2004 transmission, but I can't find anything that shows different diameters of the shafts or widths of the gears that would cause an issue. Wanted to make sure that wasn't something you noticed and Had to buy new gears for.
@@Shinny1338 na i jist noticed gear wear and went ahead and future proofed the gears. Im really suprised Ford had the items i needed. Searched several states to find all the parts.
Well duh, I looked down at the next video and there was your disassembly video. So no worries, I found it. Thanks

Any particular reason you went with a whole new set of gears rather than re transferring the original ones?
Good question! I had alot of gear wear 5 and 3
