proportions are majestic. To my taste, too much wood cladding on the interior to the point it feels a bit boring. I would have paneled south facing roof with with some black solar panels. Still 1000x times better than my flat.
This might be my favorite modern design ever. Why? It loves the past and it loves what it is. I also love its boring things like outdoor access, fire hazard safety. It's not insular or isolated. It also likes its neighbors. All this while being a completely appropriate farm/ranch house. I am excited by this design. It'll make me rethink modern. Cheers and thank you. 😊
This house is absolutely unique and exceptional! I can imagine the fragrance that a huge amount of natural wood creates inside the house! It's tremendous but still cozy! Great job, Dominik and Patrick, keep it up! 👍🤙😎

First of, thank you Ramon for allowing us to view your beautiful home. I can only imagine what an amazing feeling it must be, to be the architect of your own home. The design for the setting, is gorgeous. Although i'm not a fan of pine, more of a walnut person, but the pine certainly balances well with the concrete, which i absolutely love. Cracked me up where Dominik was struggling with those shutters and Patrik tells him he's taking too long, you know Patrik was dying to get out of the sun 😅
It must be an amazing feeling, having your dream come true like this 😊😀
Keep in mind those shutters where super heavy 😅

I am inlove with this house. Definitely one of a kind. The combination of concrete and wood is grand! I am not a minimalist but could see myself going for a style like this in the future. Another great tour!

Coolest house yet. The wingspan is super duper. I just can't get over the sniper looking at me from the dark outside feeling. That and the 'time to leave the mall' and go home loneliness queesies I couldn't shake off in that huge kitchen with nothing in it pod. It's most beautiful outside. Very special site. I would have to disguise my roto tiller shed as an old relic outhouse maybe.

In the US this long layout and continous ridge of the gable roof in known as "Dogtrot". Also, in the US we are required to specify/include a ground fault circuit interrupter outlet on/in kitchen islands, and are required to locate them a minimum ditance apart, often requiring more that one outlet on longer (but not deeper)islands, as well as peninsulas.

I found myself pondering just where in the Mae Hong Son area I would have this built, looking out over the hills.
The house just falls short of 'brutalism', but manages to look inviting and cosy at the same time.

I think I've watched all your videos at this point- great way to relax in the morning on a weekend. If this was a point of discussion I wanted to add my two cents: In the US (at least) the fireplace refers the bit where you burn the wood/fuel and the chimney is above the fireplace and vents the smoke/fumes from the home.
