    Good advice for not only car detailing but for other pad related activities.

    Best and most useful video yet! This is the topic that I feel most enthusiasts and detailers don’t know or struggle with the most. Thanks for making this video Yvan and Nick.

    Especially when you start getting powdering ie the product is not causing a watery/oily film anymore. With mf i blow them out halfway through a three to four pass process of doing one section. Seriously reduces or even eliminates haze and marring from mf pads

      Why does it get gummed up my just doing a small section

    • @diydetailofficial
      @diydetailofficial  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DiamondDetailingBuzz it only does it generally on the first pass, this is deep cleaning the paint, and removing the oxidized clear coat.

      @@DiamondDetailingBuzz microfibre loads very quickly so two drops or three is usually enough or one spritz of spray polish. I air clean them after one or two passes to remove that paint residue, add a tiny drop again of oroduct and do one or two more passes and done, no haze or that tiniest amount. You don't have to do it all the time especially on harder paints but i find it helpful. Many ways to do this stuff, do what works for you

    What method do you recommend for cleaning the pad at the end of the day?

    • @diydetailofficial
      @diydetailofficial  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ideally you should be cleaning your pad after every section.

      I understand but should you clean the pad more thoroughly when done for the day? If yes, what do you recommend?@@diydetailofficial

      No, it stays clean throughout the process.

    Hey yvan I am getting sling after cleaning my pads. I use high rpms to spin the excess water off but it still seems to sling. I only use 5 pea size drops on the pad. I have the milwaukee cordless rotary. I wanted to polish the door shuts on my car but I didn't want to sling polish all over the inside of the car. Any advice is greatly appreciated

      @diydetailofficial  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We teach one spray of Gold Standard Polish on a slightly damp pad that you’re free spinning as you spray polish on. You should get minimal sling if any 👍

      @@diydetailofficial when will your products be introduced to the uk? I want some gold standard polish but it's going to cost me £60 a bottle with import costs from ebay. I really want to try it but I can't justify that from a financial perspective

    How do I clean the pad with just a bucket of rinseless?

    • @diydetailofficial
      @diydetailofficial  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Easy, take pad off the machine, dunk in Rinseless, squeeze it out, put back on machine and spin in a box or bucket to catch the spray
