- After living in Bali for the past 4 months we finally decided to try Indonesian Mcdonald's for the first time, to see if it was the same (or better) than Mcdonald's in Australia.

Haha 34 years ago for my 18th I went to Bali. It was so different back then. I wasn’t into spicy food back then and remember finding KFC there. I ordered my food thinking, finally I’ve found something I like! I was very upset when I took my first bite and the chicken was spicy 🥵
God thankfully my taste buds changed and I love Balinese food now.

hahahaha this is so good. hungover at maccas, so aussie. we loved maccas in bali cos you can get it delivered and its easy on your tummy if you have a little bali belly or need a break from indo food.
As an Indonesian my best choices for French fries = McD, Fried Chicken = KFC, Burger = Burger King

Loved this vlog... I could not go 2-3 weeks without having Maccers lol 😆 I tried McDonalds when I was last in Bali and it definitely tastes different, but still enjoyed it. Hope you do a vlog on KFC too 😊 I eat KFC once in a blue moon and love their chicken. Will definitely try Maccers chicken when in Bali in August. Hey! We think the easiest way to meet people is staying in guest houses with communal spaces. For us we’ve met most people thru TH-cam but we are quite introverted so probably not the best examples. 🤣
That being said people are very friendly here and no one seems taken back by friendly conversation!

My god it really does look like Australian Maccas, i’m so keen to see how different it is with my own eyes when I eventually make my way over there
Indonesian mcd signature menu is the chicken, you can't get that chicken outside Indonesia. Just a tip if you want to go to mcd again you can change the languange before choosing the menu and choose a package menu like there's a package of 2 chicken 1 cola 1 fries or 1 big mac 1 fries 1 cola, yea saving more money than choose a la carte. Me personally come to mcd just for their big mac or the chicken, the rice bowl is just a no. if you want to try something cool in mcd order iced coffee with ice cream on the top *chef kiss*

McDonald’s is definitely a good hangover food lol..I’ve tried McDonalds in several countries and always find it fun to try different things they offer.

Loved this video. Have you tried the kfc there? The first time I went they had this cheesy hot and spicy chicken and it was so good, but it was just for a limited time only.
Try JCO..kinda dessert place..famous doughnuts, yogurt ice cream with variant toppings..or try famous sweet Martabak with variant fillings

Try hoka-hoka bento. It's japanese fast food but indonesian (they're from Indonesia, but Japanese food. So it tastes more Indonesian). There's also Richeese factory, it's Indonesian KFC but with more cheese and spicy twist.
McDo in India has an amazing spicy veggie paneer 'burger'. And if you go to McDo in Paris, they have pretty good macarons and beer! 😉

Singapore used to have one, but not anymore. Yet they double down on chicken sandwich variety. Singaporean really love chicken sandwiches.

The difference maybe the taste in Indonesia is more of a natural original spice taste and but if in australia maybe the spicy taste is rarely liked... maybe that's the only difference between mc donals in indonesia and australia.

Maybe the taste of McDonald's in Bali is almost similar to the taste in Australia. It could be different in the dough. I'm a freelance guide at Surabaya city who handled the tourists from Europe.

I prefer McD to KFC. I love the chicken, potatoes, ice cream and more. Of course, everyone's tastes are different. For me KFC is too wet. And of course what makes the difference is that McD's have really good burgers.

I love to go to the local McD's whenever I travel. It always amazes me how different some of the options are. Though you should get a commission as I wasn't thinking about McD's for dinner, 3/4 way through this video I think I will order home delivery. I am in the UK we have Quarter Pounders here. That chicken looked nice, I can't wait to see that interesting apple pie option.
