  • I took the sleeper train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. The journey took just under 13 hours, and I was pleasantly surprised about the comfort and standard of the train. I had a very comfortable sleep and the price was only 938 baht (about 25 USD).
Not only was it a lot cheaper than a flight, I also saved money instead of spending a night in a hotel.
    About me 👨
My name is Alex, and in December of 2023, I quit my job, sold my apartment and all my belongings to pursuit a lifelong dream of traveling full time.
The idea of traveling solo, as a middle-aged man, is both exciting and daunting, so I decided to bring my camera, and document my experiences. Not only to share my journey but also in the hopes of showing how amazing and wonderful traveling and the world truly is. 🌍
My goal is to visit the traditional sights as well as the lesser-known places - on a budget - and do some volunteer work with animals whenever possible.
