I got this headset today. Here is my tuppence: It feels really cheap, like most Razer Products. Bass is WAY too heavy, removing surround sound helps quite a bit as it actually sounds bad with it. It's still very booming and hurts my ears after a while even at low volume. Clamping pressure is very high, but this will probably ease up as you break them in. No equaliser on synapse, which is very odd for usb headsets, made all the worse with the huge amount of bone shaking bass (I know that makes it sound good but it's really too much). Going to get a hyperx cloud stinger instead as I found this decent audio quality and more comfortable. Not keen on the 3.5 jack but what's the point in USB just to make the logo on the headphones light up?

I bought this mic and the volume is low on ps4 and I went to settings put everything to max played with the volume scroll and I can’t lower nor higher the volume in the headset
@@cameronmontgomery340 No mate. I sent it back and got another Razer headset, I’m not convinced that headset is suitable for the PS4. Instead I got the Razer Kraken Wired Gaming Headset for Multiplatform off Amazon instead, that works fine
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed my video! I'm not sure which Kraken you're referring to. The normal Razer Kraken with a 3.5mm jack or the Kraken Ultimate? For the one with the 3.5mm jack my understanding is that the drivers and mic are identical.... However for the ultimate I would expect it to be better since it costs more.. But I haven't had the chance to test it out.
Great question.... There are pros and cons to it... But I guess having it in 3.5mm makes it more versatile... But USB makes it possible to control things like lighting.... Plus there's also the argument that USB delivers a "cleaner" sound... But that's very subjective..

Like if you would like to use it on your PC, but also on other devices like ur phone or something else with a 3.5mm port.. Then go for the 3.5mm variant.. But if you only need it for your PC then this USB variant is a gest choice!

I've been using it for months now.... I've never had that problem.. I even use it for my video editing.. If yours has an issue you should probably get it back to razer if its still under warranty.

usb has also a better sound trust me the audio jack is not worth

I think u meant 2 types of USB ports not hdmi? The blue USB port is a USB 3.0 port.. And yes it works on both.

The regular Kraken X has an analog audio 3.5mm jack whereas the Kraken X USB has a USB connector instead.
