Pinning this because I keep getting a lot of comments regarding the YOWU headset: 💖 I did uninstall and reinstall the app, no matter what I did I could not get any other color options or brightness adjustment. Even if I did, I still would not recommend these for price paid. The sound quality on the headphones and mic are horrendous for $130+ If you are looking for just music/movies sure these work and look cute but discord and gaming is a big ol no
I'd be suspicious that you got the regular 3 and not the 3G. They had one with 10 color options as a past model. That could also be why the sound quality didn't hold up. Not sure though, its hard to say.
This video saved me from purchasing the YOWU headset on black Friday/ cyber Monday sale cuz ik it’s going for $109 for that weekend but the no returns/refund policy is rlly sketchy and I wud be paying more for shipping if I bought it.. Thanks for the awesome review 😌

The sound quality issue with bluetooth headsets is caused by windows using "Hands-Free" mode instead of "Headset Stereo". This happens when the bluetooth dongle that the headset is connecting to is outdated. Newer bluetooth headsets require Bluetooth 3.0. The newest YOWU headset requires bluetooth 5.0 to work properly. I have the same sound quality issue with my laptop that only has bluetooth 2.0, but they sound amazing on my desktop with bluetooth 5.0. My Laptop causes them to get stuck in Hands-Free mode which basically sounds like a cellphone connected to a potato.

I have the Kraken BT Kitty and it has a Gaming mode.. a lower latency mode. I use it exclusively for gaming and they work great. It is also lighter on my head than the aluminum and my friends can not tell a difference between it's mic and my Hyper X freestanding mic. It does also work great with the phone. With Atmos enabled on my PC they sound extremely immersive and yet again, are much lighter on my head that the aluminum framed headsets. Also, as mentioned below... Your makeup!! and the top you are wearing.. Amazing :) Great review!

I got to say that this was the most useful review I've seen, just watched like a LOT of videos about the Logitech g733 and no one actually tested the mic that much just one and it sounded terrible, but I was in doubt because of the Blue drivers and configuration. Now you just helped me to make my mind, thank you!

I absolutely do not recommend the razer kraken kitty headphones. They're great.... for a few months. The headset disconnects every few seconds whenever I try listening to music or playing a game. Also, whenever the sound shuts off, my game freezes, which has caused a lot frustration. And I can't not mention how annoying the razer synapse software is. Anything with a wire will start randomly disconnecting. ☹
I had the same issue. Unfortunately I bought it from a reseller and wasn't able to get it replaced. I've read a lot of reviews saying the same thing. Probably there was a batch which got damaged in production. I now bought the Razer Kraken Kitty V2 and it works great.

The kraken kitty just takes up a crap ton of power one USB will allow/offer which in turns screws up everything else you have plugged in. I ended up buying a powered USB hub off amazon for $16, (a USB hub that you also plug into the wall so the headset gets the power it needs) this fixed all the reconnecting/disconnecting and popping issues for me:) and ngl the headset overall sounds 10x better and I was shocked at the difference..
@@Sasakourra I've been having issues with the disconnecting/reconnecting after a second on my Kraken Kitty headset, no one has recommended a powered USB hub but that sounds really interesting to try! Do you happen to have a link to the one that you bought?? I'd love to check it out and see if that will help
Unfortunately I cannot since I returned all of them besides my razer kraken since it’s my go to since July. My biggest thing is that headphone mics are not good quality however finding one that’s good enough is hard. The Logitech sounds like a nasa moon launch, the yowu was not good since it’s built in and picks up everything around you, the razer kitty bt was also kinda the same way as yowu. Razer kraken has the best mic quality
I personally love my YOWU headphones, they’re the new Sakura ones and their immaculate! But I know they may not work for everyone and have mixed reviews. I had no idea it was no return policy though, that is really strange 🤠
Maybe the cardcaptor ones were made differently than the 3GS, I know a lot of people complained about the limited miku ones being just really expensive novelty items with moderately okay sound. I was so sad that the quality shot down after a couple hours for me because like I said, it started out amazing but just couldn’t pass the test from there on out. Yeah my friend and I were super shocked about their policy, I had done a lot of digging and saw some people got broken headsets and yowu wouldn’t do anything about it so people were out of money :/
@@Bjj641 it is DEFINITELY good for laptop and music experiences from what I’ve experienced. For the tightness, it was at first just because they were stiff, but I’m using them basically everyday and they gotten much looser for me.
@@OrvixCosplay omg, I’m not a big fan of vocaloid but I can imagine the frustration of limited stock with mediocre results. Thankfully, at least thus far, mine have been really awesome. YOWU mentioned the Sakura ones to be different in a few ways thus being the most expensive one on the website rn. I got them for gaming and studying purposes, I’m not a hardcore gamer so maybe that’s why they work for me?? Idk

Thank you so much for your review, especially with the Yowu's. I am fighting myself between the aesthetic look and the sound quality. I was doing some research about the Cardcaptor Sakura ver by Yowu, the specs seem pretty similar to the 3G/S, but the price tag was... wow ($239!). The extra money is for the limited light set up and the RFID clear cards, I guess so, and I was wondering if they worth the price tag. I live in the UK and did some basic calculation such as the price of the product + shipping+ tax+ postal service for domestic delivery. To sum it up, it would be more than 250 GBP for this cat ear headset, while I can get a new Sony XM3 for 239 GBP (but obviously, the XM3 are not as cute as the Youwu's). So glad that I found your video, that you dug deep for the sound quality. I am not a gamer, but a little bit of an audiophile, and I also like cute things so, as you can imagine, I have been struggling with the decision. And the no return policy is a big NO to me, given the circumstances that I pay over 200+ GBP for it. There is even no warranty, and from my personal experiences, the headphones from Chinese brands tend to die on one side after a few months of use (I had one that died after barely 1 month of use before). Such risk for a college student like me. I guess I should go with the XM3 and hope there would be a more decent cat ear headset in the future, a one that can be both aesthetic and have nice sound quality. holy cow that is a lot!! I've heard the cardcaptor is really good (Miku i havent heard anything good about it) but i personally would never spend that much on headphones with a zero return policy. I like to know theres some sort of warranty for that price. The Sony XM3 will blow pretty much everything out of the water however I dont believe the Sony are gaming headset so if you are using them strictly for music then maybe see if you can get them vinyl wrapped or paint them to be cuter for your personal taste

I wish we have Yowu's headphones on Amazon UK with Prime so at least I can test it out, to check the comfort, and sound quality before commit quite a sum of (hard-earned) money for the Sakura version on Yowu's website since it has the same specs as the 3G. I know it's much to ask for a headphone that can be used for both gaming and decent music + looking cute, but I guess I will keep praying for that day to come 🤞🤞🤞
First thx for the subtitles in french ! I tried Razer Kraken Kitty V1 twice and I loved it but by the time pass. The headset became awful. The sound cut and freeze my games. I think it was from the wire. This month I tried the Yowu Selkirk 4. Very confotable, noise cancelling is amazing. It is very very cute but many problem with the blutooth. When I'm in a vocal on discord, the sound in game was very bad because it was the handfree mode. If I wanted the mode stereo, I heard discord but not the game or any video. For the people who want to use the mic and play a game or see a video be careful with that =) Even if, there is many problem inthe time with my Razer Kraken Kitty, I prefer it and I would buy it again !

@@n3kod3mon I would really recommend them, they're very comfortable and from the cooling gel in the earcups my ears don't get as hot as they do with my other headset, I also love the fact the microphone slides back into the earcup when I'm not using it and that you can squeeze the microphone to mute. The headband is very comfy and after long gaming sessions my head doesent hurt or anything and it's not itchy either. The sound quality regarding the microphone is quite good. The quality overall is just wonderful. If you decide on getting them I hope you like them just as much as I do :)

i loved razer kraken kitty up until this issue where the audio cut out every 5 minutes. i reinstalled the drivers the synaps repaired the synaps disabled spatial made it default deleted it restarted troublshooted and nothing. when i looked it up, appearently this was a common issue for people and there was just no solution for it even when people were sent a new pair. i was so dissapointed because they were literally perfect up until that last part
Currently having the exact same issue and the razor support service is awful. I'm investing in something else because this is ridiculous for such an expensive headset. See if yours is still under warranty!

That’s so weird, I’ve had mine going on 2 years and once in a while the sound will go just in my left ear but if I just move the sound nozzle back and forth it goes back to normal
Exact same happened with me, I thought I had a faulty one so I bought a new one, its even worse. Its not my pc I've tried it on other consoles. So frustrating. I personally wont be buying it ever again. Such a rip off for that reason.
@@OrvixCosplay Most of the Razer Kitty headsets have very sensitive cables, so if you are not careful and tend to bend them or straighten them non-cautiously, they tend to break very quickly. In my case, I take very good care of the cable and haven't had a single issue due to that.
I've also had the same issue. And I'm pretty dang careful with my cables. If it needs more care than I give them its too high maintenece for me (and honestly just not hardy in general). I've had 2 headsets now both for less than 6 months and the second pair less than 4 before it started cutting out and freezing my screen, etc. Now, I will say that I had the Kraken non kitty version for over 18 months and it never did me wrong. This is why I was so excited to get the Kraken Kitty and was also willing to consider them again after the first one crapped out and had issues. Idk what they've done with the Kitty but its just not a good headset.
My razer kraken kitty headset is nearly fully broke and I got it last year on Christmas, this it because of the twisting of the wire, and if I move the usb even a tiny bit it full on cuts out the audio or makes a very loud beeping/electrical sound so, just be careful with the cord, other then that stopped working it’s a good headset and like she said about the cooling gel pads, they are amazing it’s like flipping onto the cool side of the pillow lol, also I like the function of that when the mic is muted the mic tip glows red.
I’ve had my headset for almost 4 years now and sometimes the sound will cut out in 1 of the ears but then I just take the sound dial and twist it slightly and it evens out and goes back to normal 😩 but even with that annoying bit that randomly happens it’s still hands down the best headset I’ve tried imo 💖

I recently got the Razer Krakens a week ago and they feel great! the mic is good and they don't get too uncomfy just a little bit after wearing for a while. I also wear glasses and that hasn't given me a too much of a problem. They are good, ofc there are better options out there but if you get it on sale like I did it is a GREAT deal! (btw I got them for around $20 off at $60 where I live)

Yes, its hard to find them, I found some on tiktok where people mostly say they're amazing etc. but you can't tell if it's really true review. I also asked someone who has had them for 2 years and said they're pretty good but I dont know. I'm probably gonna risk it and buy them even there are no refunds and I'll see

I just want to comment this for anyone having issues with the Kraken Kitty, I've had two pairs and eventually stopped using them due to the reconnecting and disconnecting / popping noise issues. The Kraken Kitty needs way more power than one USB port on my pc allows/ offers, I ended up purchasing a powered USB hub with 2.4Volts (Id get at least 2) for around $16. So it gives a lot more power to the headset, and even after not using them for so long the moment I tried them with the extra power to it. Man.. was there a difference. I didnt know this headset had bass?? I've had no issues with the reconnecting or disconnecting and it was happening all the time before I decided to bench them. I bought the V2 pro version and I'm happy I found a fix that seems to work for me. This headset is just a powersucker and having it plugged into your PC screws up all your other usb devices. Which.. sucks isn't practical. But if you reallly wanna use the headset and just because its so cute I 100% recommend buying a powered usb hub, other people have said this also fixed for this:)
GIRL I LOVE YOU SO MUCH Since I got my new pc about two years ago, my Kitty headset REFUSED to work with me. I asked around and even expert didn't know what the problem was (being a tech nerd myself, i tried EVERY setting and EVERY update or installation). You've SAVED me from buying another headset. I love my Razer Kitty so freaking much and it works 100% fine on my laptop so it would've been a huge waste of money (esp since Razer doesn't have a balanced quality/price ratio). I had a spare HUB laying around and I tried your solution AND IT WAS FIXED!!! I cannot thank you enough for this
This video is a god send honestly!! I actually have the brookestone original kitty headset and it is still good but the lights stopped working which is a bummer but the sound is immaculate to me even after having them for 7yrs. I just wanted to upgrade since I've become somewhat obsessed with the rbg kitty headphones I was torn between the YOWU which was 140US and the kraken kitty which is now 150US but from the comments I heard it was extremely heavy for people's head and neck, I think its 1.7 pounds. I'm still unsure on what to get but I still want to keep with the Cat theme of things.
If you already have the brookstone headset you shouldn’t have too hard of a time with how heavy the razer or yowu are. I’m impressed you still like your brookstone after all these years bc all my friends who had theirs didn’t have a good experience with it! If you can, I suggest first trying the razer ones since they have a return policy and if you don’t like them returning them and doing yowu but just note in the event you don’t like them / they’re defective there isn’t a return policy

the new ver of the kitty ears that costs 150-200 that i ordered have cooling gel and are very similar to the kraken ones without kitty ears bc the bt ones were a first version that got RENEWED and kind of upgraded
To completely customize the color on the yowu headset you gotta click the 4 dots under the color name in the middle of the default color options, you can also customize the different modes, except for the Yowu mode. You can also adjust the brightness.
@@OrvixCosplay I vaguely remember that there's a code that you gotta input. I think it's on the instructions, if I'm not mistaken, next to the QR code. Edit: It's the verification code you get via text that you enter in order to be able to customize colors.

okay I have the razer kitty headset and the yowu 3g ones and I prefer the razer by a long shot. The only issue is the cord broke within a year? So i have to be very careful not to move it or else it will disconnect and reconnect multiple times. however the microphone quality is amazing to me and the audio is honestly really good too. but the YOWU ones are garbage. not worth 140 at ALL. terrible mic and audio quality. I saw another review on the YOWU headphones where they raved about them and said the razer was shit, and I was so shocked because I've had the complete opposite experience. Don't know what that's about. Anyways I much rather prefer razer or logitech
love the vid ty so much I’ve had the kitty version from razor for about 8 + months and honestly the wires tangling up is SO annoying. Yes they sound amazing and look really cute but the mic is good nothing mind blowing which is an easy fix if you get a separate mic. SUPER customizable lots of colors and you can’t even have it react to music or game sound super fun. I’ve recently started having huge problems with it disconnecting and reconnecting and messing my pc settings up ever since the app that runs it I think called synapse got updated. Seen other people have the same problem and now I have to go get them fixed because I think it’s something to do with them now. But overall I love them but having to go get fixed now. Btw where did you get your monitor arms been looking for some good white ones! 😃 love your content definitely subbed

At 14:28 I think if you press the 4 dots under the "blue" you can get a custom color page that slides up. After that, you can press the + sign on the top right and you get a color wheel. I just saw that from another review, so I don't know if it will work. I hope it does though!

I was looking for the Kraken comparision and I found what I wanted here. I have G733 and really wanted to counter Yuor arguments but you are right in most details. The lack of bass may be related to a defect but may have less bass so bad for umpf music but good for overall palette of sound. As for the mic Im surprised, everyone tell me I sound fantastic on them. Also the bluevoice function makes you sound crystal clear. Im also looking for Edifier G5BT review and wish it was here but you cant review all the headsets :) Thanks for the reviews and opinions :)
you forgot to point out that when you want to use the kitty razer headset BT while in call, using the built in mic or "Hands-free" mode AND go on yt or movies or music to stream or watch alone. The quality isn't good, and while using "Stereo" for better sound you cannot use the mic. so to have better quality while in call you need to purchase another mic for pc. haven't figured out how to change the settings on my phone sadly
I recently bought the kraken BT because my wired krakens stopped working because of the wire. DONT BUY THEM! sound quality is absolutely terrible compared to the other krakens. I regret it and I wasted my money. Hence why I’m here trying to figure out which is the best kawaii gaming headset.

I just got the kraken kitty headphones to replace my old brookstone ones that unfortunately broke recently. im pretty sad looking into it you cant get them anymore. I was super surprised someone rememberd those. Super exited for my knew headset but the speakers will be missed :).
They’re both bad quality but the G stands for gaming, the s is not meant for gaming at all and just music. The G has a “gaming” setting that really only boosted the bass and slightly made it more surround sound but not by much
Im surprised you didn't like the logitech, wow. I've tried the pink razor headset and I thought the sound was cheap sounding. I've stuck with Logitech with years though, my issue with them is that they're not PINK REEE! Now Im using the Logitech Pro X Wireless and the sound is amazing, but i hate the mic.

Get the edifier hecate g2 headphones, somewhat cheap headphones that sell for 130 in some places. The sound quality is fantastic and looks cute and has removable cat ears. I use them without them though but it has RGB and the pink looks really good.
Do not buy razer kraken with wire, no matter its pink or has ears it brakes! In 3-6 months it snaps in two at top and sides as its only 50 bucks while wireless has way better desighn plastic is diferent even ears not hard plastic but covered with soft material. On driver is different. Add bass and it will be ok. If you want to game buy extra wire will be zero latency
I do but my hair is grey so it doesn’t rub like other colors do, it might over time stain the ear cups with any colored hair but I’ll guess that a magic eraser would remove it/rubbing alcohol
The cardcaptor ones were so cute but If the razer kitty gave you neck pains this will do it too and probably worse. I couldn’t look down without them falling off because they’re so top heavy. I watched a bunch of reviews for the miku ones and basically anyone who wasnt sent it for free said “the audio isnt that good but the headphones are cute” and that’s how I assume the Sakura ones are. If they had a return policy I would say check it out but for how much they charge and don’t allow returns, it’s a huge risk

I did uninstall and reinstall the app, no matter what I did I could not get any other color options or brightness adjustment. Even if I did, I still would not recommend these for price paid. The sound quality on the headphones and mic are horrendous for $130+
If you are looking for just music/movies sure these work and look cute but discord and gaming is a big ol no

I'd be suspicious that you got the regular 3 and not the 3G. They had one with 10 color options as a past model. That could also be why the sound quality didn't hold up. Not sure though, its hard to say.

The sound quality issue with bluetooth headsets is caused by windows using "Hands-Free" mode instead of "Headset Stereo". This happens when the bluetooth dongle that the headset is connecting to is outdated. Newer bluetooth headsets require Bluetooth 3.0. The newest YOWU headset requires bluetooth 5.0 to work properly. I have the same sound quality issue with my laptop that only has bluetooth 2.0, but they sound amazing on my desktop with bluetooth 5.0. My Laptop causes them to get stuck in Hands-Free mode which basically sounds like a cellphone connected to a potato.

I have the Kraken BT Kitty and it has a Gaming mode.. a lower latency mode. I use it exclusively for gaming and they work great. It is also lighter on my head than the aluminum and my friends can not tell a difference between it's mic and my Hyper X freestanding mic. It does also work great with the phone.
With Atmos enabled on my PC they sound extremely immersive and yet again, are much lighter on my head that the aluminum framed headsets.

I absolutely do not recommend the razer kraken kitty headphones. They're great.... for a few months. The headset disconnects every few seconds whenever I try listening to music or playing a game. Also, whenever the sound shuts off, my game freezes, which has caused a lot frustration. And I can't not mention how annoying the razer synapse software is. Anything with a wire will start randomly disconnecting. ☹
I had the same issue. Unfortunately I bought it from a reseller and wasn't able to get it replaced. I've read a lot of reviews saying the same thing. Probably there was a batch which got damaged in production. I now bought the Razer Kraken Kitty V2 and it works great.

I have the same issue. I’m trying to move away from razer completely but the cat ears are a requirement and razer has the only decent cat ear headset
The kraken kitty just takes up a crap ton of power one USB will allow/offer which in turns screws up everything else you have plugged in.
I ended up buying a powered USB hub off amazon for $16, (a USB hub that you also plug into the wall so the headset gets the power it needs) this fixed all the reconnecting/disconnecting and popping issues for me:) and ngl the headset overall sounds 10x better and I was shocked at the difference..

Unfortunately I cannot since I returned all of them besides my razer kraken since it’s my go to since July. My biggest thing is that headphone mics are not good quality however finding one that’s good enough is hard. The Logitech sounds like a nasa moon launch, the yowu was not good since it’s built in and picks up everything around you, the razer kitty bt was also kinda the same way as yowu. Razer kraken has the best mic quality

Maybe the cardcaptor ones were made differently than the 3GS, I know a lot of people complained about the limited miku ones being just really expensive novelty items with moderately okay sound. I was so sad that the quality shot down after a couple hours for me because like I said, it started out amazing but just couldn’t pass the test from there on out. Yeah my friend and I were super shocked about their policy, I had done a lot of digging and saw some people got broken headsets and yowu wouldn’t do anything about it so people were out of money :/

@@Bjj641 it is DEFINITELY good for laptop and music experiences from what I’ve experienced. For the tightness, it was at first just because they were stiff, but I’m using them basically everyday and they gotten much looser for me.

Thank you so much for your review, especially with the Yowu's. I am fighting myself between the aesthetic look and the sound quality. I was doing some research about the Cardcaptor Sakura ver by Yowu, the specs seem pretty similar to the 3G/S, but the price tag was... wow ($239!). The extra money is for the limited light set up and the RFID clear cards, I guess so, and I was wondering if they worth the price tag. I live in the UK and did some basic calculation such as the price of the product + shipping+ tax+ postal service for domestic delivery. To sum it up, it would be more than 250 GBP for this cat ear headset, while I can get a new Sony XM3 for 239 GBP (but obviously, the XM3 are not as cute as the Youwu's). So glad that I found your video, that you dug deep for the sound quality. I am not a gamer, but a little bit of an audiophile, and I also like cute things so, as you can imagine, I have been struggling with the decision. And the no return policy is a big NO to me, given the circumstances that I pay over 200+ GBP for it. There is even no warranty, and from my personal experiences, the headphones from Chinese brands tend to die on one side after a few months of use (I had one that died after barely 1 month of use before). Such risk for a college student like me. I guess I should go with the XM3 and hope there would be a more decent cat ear headset in the future, a one that can be both aesthetic and have nice sound quality. holy cow that is a lot!! I've heard the cardcaptor is really good (Miku i havent heard anything good about it) but i personally would never spend that much on headphones with a zero return policy. I like to know theres some sort of warranty for that price. The Sony XM3 will blow pretty much everything out of the water however I dont believe the Sony are gaming headset so if you are using them strictly for music then maybe see if you can get them vinyl wrapped or paint them to be cuter for your personal taste

I wish we have Yowu's headphones on Amazon UK with Prime so at least I can test it out, to check the comfort, and sound quality before commit quite a sum of (hard-earned) money for the Sakura version on Yowu's website since it has the same specs as the 3G. I tried Razer Kraken Kitty V1 twice and I loved it but by the time pass. The headset became awful. The sound cut and freeze my games. I think it was from the wire.
This month I tried the Yowu Selkirk 4. Very confotable, noise cancelling is amazing. It is very very cute but many problem with the blutooth.
When I'm in a vocal on discord, the sound in game was very bad because it was the handfree mode. If I wanted the mode stereo, I heard discord but not the game or any video. For the people who want to use the mic and play a game or see a video be careful with that =)
Even if, there is many problem inthe time with my Razer Kraken Kitty, I prefer it and I would buy it again !

@@n3kod3mon I would really recommend them, they're very comfortable and from the cooling gel in the earcups my ears don't get as hot as they do with my other headset, I also love the fact the microphone slides back into the earcup when I'm not using it and that you can squeeze the microphone to mute. The headband is very comfy and after long gaming sessions my head doesent hurt or anything and it's not itchy either. The sound quality regarding the microphone is quite good. The quality overall is just wonderful.
If you decide on getting them I hope you like them just as much as I do :)

i loved razer kraken kitty up until this issue where the audio cut out every 5 minutes. i reinstalled the drivers the synaps repaired the synaps disabled spatial made it default deleted it restarted troublshooted and nothing. when i looked it up, appearently this was a common issue for people and there was just no solution for it even when people were sent a new pair. i was so dissapointed because they were literally perfect up until that last part
Currently having the exact same issue and the razor support service is awful. I'm investing in something else because this is ridiculous for such an expensive headset. See if yours is still under warranty!

That’s so weird, I’ve had mine going on 2 years and once in a while the sound will go just in my left ear but if I just move the sound nozzle back and forth it goes back to normal
Exact same happened with me, I thought I had a faulty one so I bought a new one, its even worse. Its not my pc I've tried it on other consoles. So frustrating. I personally wont be buying it ever again. Such a rip off for that reason.

@@OrvixCosplay Most of the Razer Kitty headsets have very sensitive cables, so if you are not careful and tend to bend them or straighten them non-cautiously, they tend to break very quickly.
In my case, I take very good care of the cable and haven't had a single issue due to that.
I've also had the same issue. And I'm pretty dang careful with my cables. If it needs more care than I give them its too high maintenece for me (and honestly just not hardy in general). I've had 2 headsets now both for less than 6 months and the second pair less than 4 before it started cutting out and freezing my screen, etc.
Now, I will say that I had the Kraken non kitty version for over 18 months and it never did me wrong. This is why I was so excited to get the Kraken Kitty and was also willing to consider them again after the first one crapped out and had issues. Idk what they've done with the Kitty but its just not a good headset.

My razer kraken kitty headset is nearly fully broke and I got it last year on Christmas, this it because of the twisting of the wire, and if I move the usb even a tiny bit it full on cuts out the audio or makes a very loud beeping/electrical sound so, just be careful with the cord, other then that stopped working it’s a good headset and like she said about the cooling gel pads, they are amazing it’s like flipping onto the cool side of the pillow lol, also I like the function of that when the mic is muted the mic tip glows red.
I’ve had my headset for almost 4 years now and sometimes the sound will cut out in 1 of the ears but then I just take the sound dial and twist it slightly and it evens out and goes back to normal 😩 but even with that annoying bit that randomly happens it’s still hands down the best headset I’ve tried imo 💖

I don't do much gaming, I'll be using them for zoom meetings, gaming and music.
I recently got the Razer Krakens a week ago and they feel great! the mic is good and they don't get too uncomfy just a little bit after wearing for a while. I also wear glasses and that hasn't given me a too much of a problem. They are good, ofc there are better options out there but if you get it on sale like I did it is a GREAT deal! (btw I got them for around $20 off at $60 where I live)
if Razer had 2 more color options for the bluetooth they would sell like crazy! I don't know why it's only available in pink?

I just want to comment this for anyone having issues with the Kraken Kitty, I've had two pairs and eventually stopped using them due to the reconnecting and disconnecting / popping noise issues.
The Kraken Kitty needs way more power than one USB port on my pc allows/ offers, I ended up purchasing a powered USB hub with 2.4Volts (Id get at least 2) for around $16. So it gives a lot more power to the headset, and even after not using them for so long the moment I tried them with the extra power to it. Man.. was there a difference. I didnt know this headset had bass??
I've had no issues with the reconnecting or disconnecting and it was happening all the time before I decided to bench them. I bought the V2 pro version and I'm happy I found a fix that seems to work for me. This headset is just a powersucker and having it plugged into your PC screws up all your other usb devices. Which.. sucks isn't practical. But if you reallly wanna use the headset and just because its so cute I 100% recommend buying a powered usb hub, other people have said this also fixed for this:)

Since I got my new pc about two years ago, my Kitty headset REFUSED to work with me. I asked around and even expert didn't know what the problem was (being a tech nerd myself, i tried EVERY setting and EVERY update or installation). You've SAVED me from buying another headset. I love my Razer Kitty so freaking much and it works 100% fine on my laptop so it would've been a huge waste of money (esp since Razer doesn't have a balanced quality/price ratio). I had a spare HUB laying around and I tried your solution AND IT WAS FIXED!!! I cannot thank you enough for this

This video is a god send honestly!! I actually have the brookestone original kitty headset and it is still good but the lights stopped working which is a bummer but the sound is immaculate to me even after having them for 7yrs. I just wanted to upgrade since I've become somewhat obsessed with the rbg kitty headphones I was torn between the YOWU which was 140US and the kraken kitty which is now 150US but from the comments I heard it was extremely heavy for people's head and neck, I think its 1.7 pounds. I'm still unsure on what to get but I still want to keep with the Cat theme of things.
If you already have the brookstone headset you shouldn’t have too hard of a time with how heavy the razer or yowu are. I’m impressed you still like your brookstone after all these years bc all my friends who had theirs didn’t have a good experience with it! If you can, I suggest first trying the razer ones since they have a return policy and if you don’t like them returning them and doing yowu but just note in the event you don’t like them / they’re defective there isn’t a return policy

The kraken kitty are the exact same as the kraken but just have the RGB ears 💖 the bt still don’t have the cooling gel ear cups sadly
To completely customize the color on the yowu headset you gotta click the 4 dots under the color name in the middle of the default color options, you can also customize the different modes, except for the Yowu mode. You can also adjust the brightness.
I tried multiple times and it didn’t work, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app as well and it didn’t change anything
@@OrvixCosplay I vaguely remember that there's a code that you gotta input. I think it's on the instructions, if I'm not mistaken, next to the QR code.
Edit: It's the verification code you get via text that you enter in order to be able to customize colors.

okay I have the razer kitty headset and the yowu 3g ones and I prefer the razer by a long shot. The only issue is the cord broke within a year? So i have to be very careful not to move it or else it will disconnect and reconnect multiple times. however the microphone quality is amazing to me and the audio is honestly really good too. but the YOWU ones are garbage. not worth 140 at ALL. terrible mic and audio quality. I saw another review on the YOWU headphones where they raved about them and said the razer was shit, and I was so shocked because I've had the complete opposite experience. Don't know what that's about. Anyways I much rather prefer razer or logitech
love the vid ty so much I’ve had the kitty version from razor for about 8 + months and honestly the wires tangling up is SO annoying. Yes they sound amazing and look really cute but the mic is good nothing mind blowing which is an easy fix if you get a separate mic. SUPER customizable lots of colors and you can’t even have it react to music or game sound super fun. I’ve recently started having huge problems with it disconnecting and reconnecting and messing my pc settings up ever since the app that runs it I think called synapse got updated. Seen other people have the same problem and now I have to go get them fixed because I think it’s something to do with them now. But overall I love them but having to go get fixed now. At 14:28 I think if you press the 4 dots under the "blue" you can get a custom color page that slides up. After that, you can press the + sign on the top right and you get a color wheel. I just saw that from another review, so I don't know if it will work. I hope it does though!

I was looking for the Kraken comparision and I found what I wanted here. I have G733 and really wanted to counter Yuor arguments but you are right in most details. The lack of bass may be related to a defect but may have less bass so bad for umpf music but good for overall palette of sound. As for the mic Im surprised, everyone tell me I sound fantastic on them. Also the bluevoice function makes you sound crystal clear. you forgot to point out that when you want to use the kitty razer headset BT while in call, using the built in mic or "Hands-free" mode AND go on yt or movies or music to stream or watch alone. The quality isn't good, and while using "Stereo" for better sound you cannot use the mic. so to have better quality while in call you need to purchase another mic for pc. haven't figured out how to change the settings on my phone sadly
I’m not sure if mine are just broken but I’ve never seen someone talk about how when you use the mic on the kraken Kitty it muffles all the sound
I recently bought the kraken BT because my wired krakens stopped working because of the wire. DONT BUY THEM! sound quality is absolutely terrible compared to the other krakens. I regret it and I wasted my money. Hence why I’m here trying to figure out which is the best kawaii gaming headset.

For the yowu headphones, you can customize the color. You just needed to press on the gray part.

I’m so sorry to hear that! I’ve had mine since June 2020 and they’re still going strong with every day use. They have a 1 year warranty if issues like that happen

I had 3 razer headsets, last two ones kept disconecting the sound of the headset like crazy, and that happenend with mt friends who use razer as well, i fight myself to defend razer but their kitty headset and other types just cost me a lot and doesnt work properly :(

It’s the exact same one, it’s not a gaming headset at all. The gaming setting makes the bass a little better and thats about it💖

Hi! May I ask if there's a huge difference between the YOWU Cat Headphones 3S and the YOWU Car Headphones 3G and if yes what difference it is?
They’re both bad quality but the G stands for gaming, the s is not meant for gaming at all and just music. The G has a “gaming” setting that really only boosted the bass and slightly made it more surround sound but not by much

Im surprised you didn't like the logitech, wow. I've tried the pink razor headset and I thought the sound was cheap sounding. I've stuck with Logitech with years though, my issue with them is that they're not PINK REEE! Now Im using the Logitech Pro X Wireless and the sound is amazing, but i hate the mic.

The ears will add a bit of weight to the headset but compared to the super heavy Yowu, razer is significantly lighter

Get the edifier hecate g2 headphones, somewhat cheap headphones that sell for 130 in some places. The sound quality is fantastic and looks cute and has removable cat ears. I use them without them though but it has RGB and the pink looks really good.
Do not buy razer kraken with wire, no matter its pink or has ears it brakes! In 3-6 months it snaps in two at top and sides as its only 50 bucks while wireless has way better desighn plastic is diferent even ears not hard plastic but covered with soft material. On driver is different. Add bass and it will be ok. If you want to game buy extra wire will be zero latency
I didn't thought about that, most of the people recomend the wire one because of the quality and microphone
Ive had it since 2 years now and it looks good as new. I guess you need to take good care of it and you should be fine

I do but my hair is grey so it doesn’t rub like other colors do, it might over time stain the ear cups with any colored hair but I’ll guess that a magic eraser would remove it/rubbing alcohol

i was gonna buy the yowu sakura ones but hmm im not sure . ihad the razer with the big cat ears but they gave me a lot of neck pain and migraines :(
The cardcaptor ones were so cute but If the razer kitty gave you neck pains this will do it too and probably worse.
I couldn’t look down without them falling off because they’re so top heavy. I watched a bunch of reviews for the miku ones and basically anyone who wasnt sent it for free said “the audio isnt that good but the headphones are cute” and that’s how I assume the Sakura ones are.
If they had a return policy I would say check it out but for how much they charge and don’t allow returns, it’s a huge risk
@@OrvixCosplay i totally agree. I did made a review of the razer ones in my channel,in case it happend to others. So sad man. I notice that a lot of chinese stuff is allllways aesthetic before quality. They always lower the quality on important things and the refund is a joke
